I had the most amazing month at Mittihpap, I would recommend to anyone hoping to make an impact within a local community, get to know the local culture and meet other likeminded the project travellers. It is a very unique opportunity that I would highly encourage anyone to sign up for as long as possible!

I stayed there for two weeks and it was amazing. Teaching English to the kids was incredibly fulfilling and fun. There was a great group of volunteers, and the host organized activities for us during our stay. We felt very welcome, and everything was very clear from the start. The food was also really good, and we had fresh fruit available to make our own smoothies whenever we wanted. Overall, it was an experience I would 100% recommend.

I had an amazing experience volunteering at the project. The team is amazing, they really help you with your tasks and you feel confident even if you don't have much experience with kids. the project means friendship and I can say that I made friends for life during my time there. I definitely recommend the project and this experience will forever be one of my favorites!

It's impossible to put into words what this volunteer project has meant to me. the project became a home, even thousands of kilometers away from mine. It became a family—with the project leaders, the restaurant staff, everyone involved, and the volunteers. the project is a deep immersion into real local life in Laos, a constant enrichment through its beautiful culture and people. It will leave your heart with the children at school—nothing is more precious than their smiles and their desire to learn English. If you're in Laos and want to do something meaningful, you can't miss this experience.

The project was an extremely special and unforgettable experience! I loved teaching the children, being with other volunteers and the staff. Muay, Xox, Peter & everyone at the project really make you feel welcome and at home, the daily activities are fun like kindergarten, social media and painting the schools. As a volunteer are responsible for planning lessons, it was fun to get creative doing this! The children are a pleasure to teach! We made the evenings fun with dinner together and then games - talent show/quiz/bingo. I really loved this experience, I'd come back in a heartbeat.

I had very high expectations about this experience but I could have not know that it would have surpassed them all. I had fantastic time at the project, so much that I decided to change my plans and stay another week. The staff is composed by amazing, welcoming and competent people that I'm sure I will miss a lot. The project runs free english classes and activities in three different schools and it's hearthwarming to have the possibility to hear the stories of these kids, guys and girls thanks to the English we teach them. the project means friendship in Lao, and I can definitely say I found it

I spend two weeks in Sae the project and I can only recommend to anyone who really want to have an local impact and learn about the project culture. I loved every time of my stay there. I realised that I am able to teach English to 20 kids and that I love it. I loved seeing their progresses, being able to speak with the staff and help them to improve their English. I really liked to live in the hostel with all the other volunteers and some are now my friends that I know I will see again. Making food by ourselves was really nice too. To conclude, if you hesitate, DON'T!!

Volunteering at the Sae the project was one of the best experiences i did in Laos . Collaborating with the locals and being a part of their community has changed me for the better. There was a lot of down time to get to know everyone who was involved in the project hence you form a little family . Teaching the children and older students at the schools was a great privilege. Couldn't recommend it more

Volunteering at Sae the project was the highlight of my 4 months teaching English in Asia. It was an incredibly rewarding experience I will remember forever. It is clear the staff are doing everything they can for the volunteers and the community they serve. For example, one day I was sick and received a hot meal to my door by one of the restaurant staff, later in the week I had an idea about a healthcare program that I really wanted to implement and the staff worked with me to make it possible. Forever grateful for Sae the project and can't wait to see their growth in the future!
