Program Details

We need help with:
- Building a fence of dry branches to enclose one of the gardens in which we want to plant fruit trees, safely from the neighbors' goats. 🙂
- Construction of a second "duck" pond from natural materials (clay, sand, straw).
- Building a greenhouse from straw bales.
- Continued shaping of the design of the gardens with steps and paths, mulched with different materials, etc.
- Expansion of the chicken park in the forest.
- Current tasks in the gardens, with the birds and with the preparation of the table, cooking and preservation of food for the winter. ❤

You will learn how we take care of our gardens in an organic way, how we take care of our chickens and ducks and how to build with natural materials.

Activities & Shift

We require assitance every day of the week, so we are open to your suggestions about particular days and hours. Also, have in mind that farm work and other outside work is more or less dependent on the weather.

It is very hot during summer so we start early. We go out at 6-7 a.m. and usually have breakfast around 08:30-9:00 and then go out again until its too hot to do anything. So during the hottest time of the day usually between 13:00-16:00 we either take rest or use the swimming pool or take a walk in the shadow of the forest. And later we do some more work in the cooler hours of the day.

During the fall we get up later and do stuff during the light hours of the day.

Rules

Please, don't bring guests unless we have a prior arrangement.
Smoking is not permitted on the property, however you can smoke outside the yard.
There is no silent rule, but we have people working distant online jobs, working with clients, conducting online meetings, courses, interviews, etc. and noise level should be according to these engagements for which you will be notified.

Private room: consult the availability.
Tent: You need to bring your own tent. (We can provide only one small tent.)
Please, take part in the cleaning and preparation of food. We live together while you are here and share a home. :)
