The experience

I have a new home that I would love to transform into a beautiful space. I'm looking for someone that knows how to do things like:
- build custom built-in bookcases
- build a deck or patio
- landscaping and lawn care
- fence building
If you have experience in this realm, and are really good at it, I'd love to host you and create something together. In return I can provide a comfortable room, food, and proximity to lots of fun stuff in Austin.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Between 20 and 45 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Have fun, but the house is a drug-free zone. Also must love dogs.
