The hostel is well-located, with the subway just 5 minutes away, as well as markets and a gym nearby.
The work is very easy, and the staff who handle the hostel’s cleaning are great — very welcoming and funny.
There is a flat reserved just for volunteers, but you can also hang out in the various common areas of the hostel. There’s free coffee for volunteers.
Chang was wonderful and made our experience much better!

My first volunteering experience couldn't have been better. I stayed at the the hostel for 4 weeks, where I volunteered on the housekeeping and breakfast shifts. Both were very comfortable, and the staff were really understanding and helpful when teaching us. The volunteers also have a separate flat, which is great. I'm very grateful for everything I experienced during this month. I can't wait to come back and volunteer at this hostel again!

I spent six weeks at the hostel Earl's the hostel and I had a great time! The shifts are very easy to handle and the schedule is flexible. Chang, who is responsible for the volunteers, is very easygoing and helpful. You get a flat only for volunteers, which is a big difference. I hope to return and I'm glad to have lived this experience in London 🫶🏻
