My time at Patricia's Farm was good.
The work is simple, but can be physically sometimes. Working hours are respected and you can arrange a working schedule if you have some preferences.
The surroundings are really nice and offer alot to explore.
What could be improved is the communication in the project and the equality of the working hours of volunteers from worldpackers and workaway(they work different amounts).
I can recommend to try out this experience of a farmlife. And if you have a nice team of volunteers you will have a really great time there.

Unfortunately terrible communication from the host who had no idea me and another volunteer were arriving with no place for us to stay. Quite a dirty unorganized living space as well with other volunteers not being treated respectfully which was made very clear from the one day I was there.

I appreciated a place to stay & the other volunteers were amazing, however: The place was dirtier than anticipated: disorganized, lots of moldy food. The host's communication was poor: 2 volunteers arrived while the host was away (she did not mention they would be arriving) and we unsuccessfully scrambled to find beds, sheets etc, leading to them finding a hotel instead. The host's response made me uncomfortable, she blamed several volunteers who had done their best to help. I recommend that the host incorporate household cleaning into the daily work hours and improve communication!

I don't want to be overly negative because I did enjoy my stay but some things need to be seriously improved here. The host frequently was unclear about working instructions and would change the time work started/finished at the last minute. Her communication was so poor that two volunteers had to find different accommodation upon arrival and the host blamed faultless volunteers. Another thing that could be improved is that domestic duties around the house were not included in working hours so the house was not always well maintained.

I had a really great time working on Patty's farm! It was a really good opportunity to practice Spanish and even though my Spanish level isn't great Patty was always very patient with me, taking the time to ensure I always understood! I also really enjoyed the work on the farm, and I always found the days went by very quickly! Thank you Patricia!!!

It was a very fun time, I felt included and at home from the first moment. You can expect meeting various other volunteers, from around the world :). One thing that could be improved is the clear communication of rules and expectations from Patricia's side. I learned how to do tasks from the volunteers who have been there for some time, and it mainly worked out well. At the end Patricia was super welcoming, funny, flexible and wanted us to have a great time.

One of the best experiences EVER!Paty was OMG amazing,we shared a lot EVERYDAY I learned so much about Chile and Amai Kipa(her business).Work was hard some days less than others but there's nothing Paty didn't already warned or that she tells you before start. At least the beds I slept they were good maybe there could be some that aren't that nice but I dint try them all but I'm pretty sure that if you talk to her about she'll do something.Paty also made us feel part of the family and that's so amazing because you don't feel like one of the crowd. This is my sincere experience, she was flexible

It was my first experience as volunteer, but also very rewarding! There's a lot to do, and that's really good, making time fly! I've met people from many countries and age groups, more friends to meet again someday! Patricia is a very good host, kind and friendly. I'll never forget my time there!

I had a great time here! I don't speak much spanish and Patricia was so welcoming and patient with me. I loved being around the sheep and dogs and cat and being outside for most of the day! It's pretty close to the city of Punta arenas and people are willing to pick up hitchhikers so it's easy to get to the city (also there is a bus that only costs $300 pesos). Thank you Patricia for welcoming me into your farm and home❤️

This was my first experience with Worldpackers, and everything went very well. Patricia and her family are lovely and very welcoming. I mostly did construction work, but I think the tasks will be more enjoyable in the summer. I also got to spend some time with the animals, which added a nice touch to the experience. The only downside is that the showers need a deep clean, and there isn't the necessary equipment on site to take care of it. Despite that, I had a great time overall and I'm happy with my experience!
