Participants will live on our Campus, a hub of collective houses, with single or double rooms, an equipped kitchen, common spaces, a shower with hot water, a biodiversity garden, proper waste separation and disposal, solar energy, ecological sanitation systems and a design integrated with nature. Here, your stay becomes a large laboratory for experimenting with community life integrated with the technologies and environmental practices we apply at the school. You will be involved in daily tasks, reiterating the responsibility of each individual in creating their social reality.
Meal responsibility lies with each participant. Lunches are organized from Monday to Friday collaboratively and at low cost, with each day a group responsible for preparing the meal, in moments of conviviality in which other members of the community also join. Arrival on Saturdays.
Daily activities:
Besides participating in the collective lunch, maintenance of the campus common areas is also included, involving gardening, cleaning and harmonizing the spaces, composting and dry toilets.
Recurring activities during the week:
Seedling planting, management of organic waste through the different composting systems we have on campus, management of recyclable waste through playful activities and involvement with social projects that we develop with the local community.
Occasional activities:
Bioconstruction and maintenance of ecological sanitation structures.
Our work rhythm is Monday to Friday, resting on Fridays and Saturdays.
You will be very welcome here in our home, but it is important to know that we have some agreements that need to be followed. This way, you can have the best experience with us, respecting nature and our lifestyle. See below each of them:
- The use of 100% biodegradable cleaning and hygiene products is allowed only, avoiding contamination of our waters that come from the groundwater that feeds us.
- Carrying electronic devices is allowed only between 9:00 and 15:00 and the use of devices with resistance such as straighteners and hairdryers is not allowed.
- We do not sell or consume meat-containing foods and alcoholic beverages
- It is not allowed to smoke cigarettes or to use any kind of drugs.
- We separate our waste properly.
- Pets are not allowed (PETs).
