We love spending this time in the company of Carol, her friends, the lantern, and all of her cats. It was a very calm time, with balanced and very peaceful activities; I ended up discovering that it's a great pastime to rake the leaves, especially in the soil. The sky seen there isn't easy to come by; it's really a beautiful place and very well cared for! :D

The site is a very special place, with a unique energy. Each corner is cozy and beautiful, surrounded by nature. In addition, Paraty is exuberant, charming and full of history! We did a bit of everything at the site, mosaics with tiles, water collection, cleaning the spaces… It was very good to learn new things and break out of the routine of cleaning/reception at most volunteer programs. We were very well accommodated in one of the cabins. Carol is an admirable and inspiring woman, very nice and flexible regarding schedules! Thank you for the exchange ❤️☺️🙏🏼

Volunteering at Maria Bonita's farm was exactly what we were looking for and wanted. Although it involves lodging, the vibe is totally different from Hostel, which is where we were and wanted to move away from, to stay more private and work on things beyond reception/cleaning. And volunteering at the site made that possible, doing work to improve the space, tasks that involved useful knowledge for life. Plus we were very well accommodated in a cabin, with more space and privacy ☺️🙏❤️

All the people I came into contact with, especially Carol, contributed to me gaining incredible learnings that I will carry with great fondness throughout my journey. Volunteering in the SP/RJ border, 30 minutes from Paraty. Beautiful place in the middle of nature. Ideal to disconnect and reconnect with yourself because there are few people. 4 hours of volunteering; if it rains you won't be able to fulfill the whole schedule, usually days off are the weekends, Saturdays and Sundays. Poor internet signal and even more with storms!! I don't recommend it if you work online. Highly recommended for people who want to disconnect because you want or you end up disconnecting.. lol

O lugar é incrível e tem uma estrutura muito boa, cozinha top e banheiros perfeitos! Infelizmente não pude praticar muito bioconstrução pois tudo praticamente já havia sido feito. Tem frutas colhidas do pé e isso além de raro foi muito bom. O chalé é realmente lindo e muito aconchegante assim como todo o resto.

O sítio é um lugar incrível pra se reconectar com a natureza e aprender na prática. O trabalho é variado e bem orientado pela Carol e pelo Bao, que compartilham muito conhecimento sobre bioconstrução e a vida em um sitio. A Carol é uma mulher inspiradora, forte, com uma história linda e muitos valores. A convivência com ela foi, sem dúvida, um dos pontos altos da experiência.

Incrível! O lugar é realmente muito lindo e muito organizado, lugar de muita paz e sossego. Carol e Gaia são super gente boa com muita consciência social e ambiental! Aprendi sobre permacultura e, principalmente, sobre bioconstrução. Obrigado pela estadia, pelos ensinamentos e aprendizados que levarei comigo.
