The experience

We need a person to create a great atmosphere, someone that will make the difference and improve our ratings. You'll welcome our guests, help them getting around, put some music on, organize an afternoon at Beira-mar avenue, anything to make our guests feel really good!

What you offer

6 hours of help per day

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the city.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Intermediate Portuguese or Intermediate English

Over 18 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

5 days a week. 6 hours a day. Flexible days. You'll get the help from me, the owner, and from people from staff. Follow the common rules of the hostel. Be dynamic and pro-active.

Activities & Shift

3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon or night.
Check-in and out guests.
Help guests getting around.
Create a nice atmosphere.
Help Housekeeping confirming check-outs.
