This was my first Worldpackers experience, and honestly, I couldn't have chosen a better place for my first volunteer program Kyla is very kind and welcoming, and I felt at home from day one. Communication was great, the work was fair, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. I met amazing people, learned a lot, and made unforgettable memories. I highly recommend this host and I'm very grateful for making my first Worldpackers experience so special!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I had a great time! Kayla is very attentive and helpful with any and all questions you have. Cheongju is a great base spot to stay in and do weekend trips to Seoul or Busan on your days off. I have made so many memories I’ll never forget here definitely recommend.

I had a great time at the project! This language studio is perfect for anyone who wants to connect with locals. Guests come from many different backgrounds and ages, from kids to older adults. You only work on weekday afternoons, so it's easy to plan weekend trips. Cheongju is a quiet and relaxed city, and the studio is located in the outskirts. It takes just 7 minutes by food to reach it from the accommodation. Kayla is a kind and friendly host, and I really enjoyed chatting with her before classes. She also provides plenty of food! I wish I could have stayed longer .. I truly felt at home here!

This was probably my best experience in Korea over all! Kayla is genuinely the best boss I've ever had and she makes work feel like home everyday. The work hours were perfectly fine and you could always talk to her when you needed off or to switch. The apartment was amazing (Especially for Korea) and the provided food was more than enough. From eggs, rice, yogurt, cereal bread ramen and more you will definitely not end hungry. Talking to the people in the studio was super interesting and a lot of fun! You will have people from all ages ♡ I will absolutely miss my time there ...😭

Kayla and Brian are absolutely amazing hosts, and I had a wonderful volunteering experience! They, along with the other volunteers, were incredibly welcoming and kind. Whenever I needed help, whether it was recommendations for restaurants, cafés, or anything else they were always there. The working hours are very easy and fair, and the locals also made me feel right at home. The accommodation has everything you need, and supplies are restocked weekly. Thanks to this volunteering program, I met wonderful people and was able to immerse myself more deeply in the culture. I definitely recommend!

I really enjoyed my time in Cheongju! Keila and Brian were very welcoming and helpful hosts and the job is very fun. Besides getting to meet locals, it's nice to help them improve their english skills and talk about our cultural differences. During the weekends, there are many non-turist areas in the city for you to explore.

I would say the experience overall was positive and the hours weren't too long. Kayla was lovely and the students were overall attentive and eager to learn (for the most part). The weekends were always free as well so that was great :)

Kayla and Brian are super wonderful people and the accommodation is great! They order essential groceries every week that get delivered to the door and there's a cheap grocery store nearby for any extra things you need. The work is easy and all the people that come to Minglish are lovely and friendly. There are a lot of young teens (12-15) that come to the cafe though so if you don't work well with children it might be something to keep in mind. The beds are a bit uncomfortable but other than that it was a really positive experience!

Me and my sister had a wonderful volunteering experience in the project. The working hours were exactly as agreed and sometimes even less. Kayla was always supportive and tried to help us with everything we needed. The students we met were incredibly sweet. some of them even took us out, showed us around, and did everything they could to make us feel at home. We made lovely friends during our stay and the apartment was also very comfortable. Thank you so much for everything. Highly recommended!
