The volunteer canceled as soon as she arrived. We asked her to be patient and moved her to an air-conditioned space that would provide the comfort she was seeking. I find her assessment unfair, given that she arrived and canceled. It had been explained to her hours before, before she accepted her visit! It was a bad experience, a dysfunctional volunteer placement.
