Michelle is a very special host. We ended up forming a friendship that I will carry with me!!
The work is super relaxed and enjoyable. Taking care of the children (🐶 🐱) is like being in paradise! Besides, the routine is quite flexible and Michelle is very open to dialogue, which makes the whole experience even lighter.

Caraíva, OCA, kids (pets) and Michele will be forever in my heart. I came to stay for a few weeks and I was enchanted by what I found here, grateful for the reception and for all the warmth. About the hostel, it's the best facilities I've ever seen, the house is fully equipped and the beachfront (the sea of Bahia will be your backyard). About the volunteer, the exchange is fair, the communication is clear and the reception gets a 10!

This was my first volunteering experience, I lived wonderful days and connected a lot with the place, the hostel has a surreal view of the sea. The host, Michele, is a wonderful person and has a very good energy, very welcoming and attentive to the team. I spent my time taking care of the pets, I must confess it was very calm and wonderful to have everyone's care, the outings were always joy and fun with them, besides being by the beach that made me feel happier every day. I ended up forming an affection for everyone and I will miss them a lot! Very grateful for the experience.

😊 My experience at the hostel Oca Caraiva was incredible. I volunteered for 2 months and ended up staying another 2 weeks. Michelle, the owner, is a very friendly and kind person. The place is beautiful, facing the sea, with impeccable daily cleaning. The staff at the hostel are very kind and attentive. My work was very easy to do and they always helped me with a smile if I had any questions. Additionally, at the hostel you meet very friendly people every day. I would totally recommend!

My experience at the hostel was wonderful, a place with easy access to the beach, a great location, the true feet-on-the-sand experience. From the beginning, I was very warmly welcomed by Michelle, who was always available to help or answer questions about my duties. The duties are extremely calm. My experience at the hostel was wonderful. I had freedom to produce and work. We aligned the demands and deadlines on the second day and after that we were free to capture and edit according to our availability and the weather forecast. It was light, it was enjoyable, it was nature and connection. The hostel by the sea is amazing; sleeping to the sound of the waves is priceless. After 6 months volunteering, I can say that at the hostel we had the best reception in the world! On the first night, Michelle introduced us to a city forró. I recommend it to everyone! P.s.: we did media volunteering, as a couple.

My volunteering at the hostel was sensational. Michelle is fooooda, always willing to help, receptive, high-spirited and even has a beer with us haha. About my work, it was smooth; I was responsible for the media (videos), we agreed on a demand right on the second day we arrived and delivered everything and a little more. My girlfriend and I arrived in the off-season and stayed at the hostel, our arrangement was that we would stay in the camp, but I had a bit of a problem and Michelle totally understood and offered us to stay at the Hostel. Speaking of the hostel, it is always clean and organized like the entire hostel.
