The experience

We are a collective space in which we seek to popularize life in nature, permaculture, care for resources, regeneration, agroecological food production, natural medicine, and autonomy solutions in harmony, respect, and connection with nature, also promoting responsible tourism with the environment; so that everyone can one day build their own sustainable project. What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Handyman: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.


Requirements

Fluent Spanish or Intermediate English

Between 27 and 60 years old

Accepts solo applications and also couples and pairs

Program Details

Volunteering: 5 hs/day 5 days a week:
-Field work (creation of spaces, building and building support (this summer we have the goal of building a lab for the creation of herbal medicine and a plant drying room), Gardening and garden maintenance, irrigation, compost management, waste management, dry toilet management, cleaning, harmonization of spaces, maintenance of trails, creation and maintenance of signage, clearance, care of tools and their inventory, artistic creations for the space, needs that arise from day to day day)
-Support in the management of participants during the activities, workshops and mingas - collaborate in the organisation and development of the activities.
- Facilitation of workshops (if you are interested in offering your knowledge we can make it happen!)
-Support in the purchase of food and supplies. Cooking.
- Guests service - according to the needs.


Activities & Shift

From Monday to Friday: (5 hours of daily work)
7:00 a.m.: Breakfast
8:00 am: Start of field work
10:30am: break -Juice - fruit
12:00 p.m.: End of work
12:30 p.m.: Lunch


Rules

About coexistence:
The recycling, composting and waste management system will be respected.
You will not enter the establishment with guests.
Rest times will be respected and the volumes will be regulated in case music is made or listened to.
The space for cooking and eating is our kitchen - thus we avoid having food outside it to maintain order, cleanliness and not attract animals.

About food: Vegetarian breakfast and lunch.

There will be a volunteer responsible for cooking during the stay in conjunction with the host.

About the stay:
The stay is in a tent. We have two tents equipped to receive two people each. Also an equipped community kitchen, hot shower and dry toilet.

About transportation:
We have a vehicle that goes up and down the town twice during the day. If you do not have your own vehicle, you can take advantage of these trips to town and back to the land.
