I will recommend to anyone to make their volunteer program here, the hosts are the most chill guys ever, it seems that their top priority is that everyone is having a nice time, first of all the volunteers. The work is perfectly balanced cause is all about being a team, the shifts are exactly the ones described in the ad and you can chill most of the time. The hostel is popular for many locals, and I found some people that made the hostel a second home for me, I'll be back here for sure!

I loved my time chilling out at the hostel would readily recommend this volunteer position to everyone! Zac, Larbi, Ismail and Younes are wonderful bosses who were very understanding and the work was easy (especially as it wasn't surf season yet). The four person volunteer team was epic and the shifts are perfectly arranged to organise occasional trips to other areas of Morocco. Tamraght itself is a beautiful, family-friendly town and as a girl, I felt really safe. The shifts itself mainly involved check-in, sweeping and emptying the bins - super easy work :)

It was my first volunteer experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one!! The owners were very friendly, supportive and helpful. The tasks very easy and understandable, the shifts were very chill so you had so much time to explore town, go surfing, skating, and even make quick trips to other cities! I made so many amazing friends and overall loved my stay in the hostel!! Would definitely recommend! And probably will be back❤️

I had an amazing time in the hostel! The tasks are clearly communicated and easy to do and you will always receive help if you need some. Next to the shifts you will have a lot if freetime to explore Tamraght and the surroundings. The vibe of the hostel is very chill and familylike so that you will quickly feel like home. I can not say anything negative about my experience and would 100% recommand it to future Volunteers!

The owners are really chill, and the tasks are quite manageable too with enough free time. There's always a nice atmosphere around the house. However, I went during the low season (July/August), so there wasn't much going on and the surfing conditions weren't great. Still, it's very easy to fall in love with Tamraght.

Super chill and laid back vibe, tasks are simple and nonexhaustive and hours are respected, which allowed plenty of time to explore when off shift or on days off. It was great to have other volunteers around as well, there were 3-4 at a time while I was there! Great communication with the hosts, while they don't live on site if you ever have any questions or need anything they respond quickly and swing by often. There is also a very sweet local woman that comes every morning to make breakfast and clean. Thank you to the team at cactus for having me!

I traveled to Morocco from half June to half July. It was low season for surfing but I was still able to do few surf lessons as a beginner. The hostel can be really quiet and chill, but you'll soon get used to it. Be ready for a good walk to go to the beach, with time you'll enjoy it and you'll discover always something new. There are many activities you can join in order to meet new persons (search for ig accounts of Tamraght). Thanks to Ismail, Zack, Larbi and Younes for the time spent together🫶🏻 Be open minded and the opportunities will come to you!

Had the best time ever I love Tamraght its such a cute little town. Always lots to do the beaches are beautiful and people are awesome. The work at the hostel is really doable and the hours workout so you have time to visit other cities. All the owners are super nice and sometimes they bring their dogs over. Ill be back for sure

Such an amazing experience!! let me volunteer very last minute which I'm so grateful for, ended up staying for almost 3 months. The hostel is so spacious and comfy, loads of seating areas, huge rooftop, and amazing views!! staff room is nice and cosy, really comfy beds! The job is very chill and easy, cleaning, check ins, making beds, 3 shifts then day off it's done really well so you get sooo much free time. the owners are all so lovely, really nice chill guys, always wanting to help and listen to us volunteers!
