The experience

My name is Luiza, and we are glad to Welcome you to our Casa da Mata's Hostel.
We are located a 25min walk from Costa da Caparica center (surf spot in Portugal), a 5min walk away from the beach.
Our main needs are for cleaning the space, serving breakfast, check ins and check outs.
We value people with initiative, who have a spirit of teamwork and who contribute to the activities independently, respecting the Hostel and the guests.

What you offer

24 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Fluent English or Fluent Portuguese

Over 27 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Activities & Shift

Daily cleaning of common areas/check-ins.
As we are in low season, it is possible to do it with more time and well. It is a flexible schedule.
