The experience

My name is Janine, I am Casa da Mata's Hostess and manager. We are located 1.5km away from Costa da Caparica center (surf spot in Portugal), a 5min walk away from the beach and 3min from the mountains (with hiking and trekking choices). I'm needing help with housekeeping/cleaning, watering and taking care of the garden, walking our dog Rasta, and welcoming guests. The busy season starts in March, so the "job" will be really chill until then =)

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
