I didn't fully enjoy my stay at the camping. Partly, it was because I was the only foreigner and felt a bit isolated from the camping environment since it was mostly families/friends and I'm a solo traveller so I came alone. The bakery/pizzeria next door have some friendly people. When I arrived at the camping, Uweimar (or anybody) wasn't there to greet me or show me around until the 2nd day (although I was only there for 2 nights / 3 days total). While, like I said, this wasn't my favourite experience, I do believe the description is accurate - I wish I could have felt more welcomed!

My time at the camping was a great experience. The creative team was very friendly, and it was a pleasure working together. The surrounding nature is beautiful, and I really enjoyed paddleboarding on the lake and visiting the camping. There weren't many people, but everyone was kind and welcoming. The restaurant offers good and affordable food, and there's a small shop just a 10-minute walk away. Getting there was easy, but I'd recommend arriving early for convenience. Overall, a wonderful place with a great atmosphere!

This was an AMAZING experience. There was quite a language barrier but even through that, the staff were so kind and always said hello. Our tasks were very simple as we created social media and sent it in at the end of each day. It was very enjoyable! During free time I would hang out by the water, which is beautiful or by the pool or you can go into town by taxi or bus. There is so much to do! I would love to go back again:)

Mi experiencia en Mistic Paradise fue maravillosa. Me encantó el ambiente alrededor del lago y, sobre todo, la calidad humana de las personas que hacen parte del lugar. Durante el voluntariado pude compartir, aprender cosas nuevas y aportar al equipo en las actividades diarias, la atención a los visitantes y la logística. Me sentí muy bien acogida y disfruté mucho mi estadía. Es una experiencia que recomiendo a quienes quieran salir de la rutina, conocer personas nuevas y vivir un intercambio enriquecedor, donde no solo das lo mejor de ti, sino que también te llevas aprendizajes y recuerdos.

I had a wonderful first volunteering experience; Uweimar is an excellent person who gives a warm welcome, just as all the site staff know that volunteers are coming. The place is amazing; they provide you with a good tent, breakfast, and other meals at employee prices. There are also various activities to enjoy with beautiful views🤩

It's a very beautiful experience; from the moment I arrived I was warmly welcomed by the host Uweimar, very kind and attentive. The activities were very varied; we took some photos for advertising the place, and we discussed a possible idea for the cover of the movie area. The hosting team was very kind to me and my partner and they made us feel very comfortable. As for the tasks, we had to generate content as models showing the activities that can be done at the campsite. The team also took us to the town to film us and take photos. On the last day they did an interview for their podcast in which we shared our experience. In our free time we could use the facility to rest and entertain ourselves. The staff at the place were also very kind to us during our stay. I recommend volunteering at the campsite.

We spent a few excellent days at the campsite, the place is beautiful and has incredible views of the lake and the mountain. We did several activities in which we had to record our experience, such as kayaking, boating and paddle tennis. Part of the exchange consisted of going to the town to create content for social media, they took us there and brought us back, so everything was very comfortable and relaxed. They also did an interview in a camping podcast in which we shared our experience. They fulfilled what was agreed in the exchange. We especially thank Uwueimar, Sara and Sofia!!
