This was my first volunteer experience and it was the best I could have asked for. I felt so welcomed, at home, and comfortable. Everyone was so wonderful and I made true friendships for life. The work was exactly as we agreed beforehand and there was nothing unexpected. I will miss the hostel and I hold the experience close to my heart. Thank you so much!!!

Best hostel that I've stayed in Lagoa da Conceição! Great infrastructure, next to supermarkets, gyms and bus station; extremely safe place to be, with a lot of activities to do, free bikes at your disposal and with the most welcoming and flexible hosts that you can find. The work is pretty simple and you'll not be absorbed with endless activities as many hostels try to imply in the volunteers. Overall, an amazing hostel, I really recommend you coming here!

It was such a nice experience and I had an amazing time. The work was easy to handle and the hostel was very clean and has a very nice location next to the beach and the river!! Also the whole team was friendly. I would recommend it to everyone:)

I had a great time as a volunteer at the hostel. very welcoming and family atmosphere. the hostel is super well located, 2 minutes from the beach. as I didn't speak Portuguese I did the "night-shifts" and everything went very well. I recommend!

I had a fantastic time at the volunteering program in the hostel. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. You will never get bored there, since there's always something to do, like karaoke nights, going hiking or to the beach, different party's or even just playing card games for hours. The location is incredibly beautiful. I went to the beach everyday. All in all I am so grateful for having had the opportunity to volunteer there and I would definitely recommend it!

I had an amazing experience at the hostel! Would recommend it to everyone! The crew is lovely and Victor has created a fantastic vibe and energy, which you feel immediately when entering the hostel! The work and time of is very well balanced and the crew works like a family. Had a blast here, would come back in a heart beat!

I really enjoyed my time with the hostel. This was my first experience and I think all together it was a really great one. Location- right on the beach and close to all the major sites. Activities- I was involved in a beach clean, surfing, hiking, parties, etc. Staff- The other volunteers and the management at the hostel were really great. Adriano is always at the hostel so he is there to answer any of your questions. Improvements- The hostel is always being cleaned; however, it never seems like it's really deep cleaned. I also found that the training was a little light.
