Hello Packers, how are you? We need help with the hostel cleaning. We require 24 hours per week. These shifts can be divided into 4 shifts of 6 hours per week. The shift hours are from 8am to 2pm; from 12pm to 3pm; from 4pm to 7pm; from 9pm to midnight. Volunteers must be available to help at all proposed times. The exchange is for accommodation at the volunteers' house.

I had a very good experience during the volunteering, where I had the opportunity to collaborate in different departments and learn more about how the hostel works. It is also a great opportunity to socialize with guests and take part in different activities with them. One of the best things is that the hostel is located right next to the beach, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. 🌊

Extremely disappointing and disrespectful experience. No onboarding, no guidance, and very poor communication (often waiting hours/days for replies). My last yoga class was April 17th during a busy week; I was told I would teach Sunday and Monday, but on Sunday morning the classes were suddenly cancelled. Then I saw in the volunteer WhatsApp group that all yoga classes were removed and my name deleted, effectively removing me without even telling me. After investing money to come, this felt unprofessional and unfair.

1. You left the volunteers' house in the middle of your volunteer work, you would no longer be in touch with the guests and the team.
2. I received many complaints! The guests did not like the practice, the soundtrack that didn't fit a yoga class; you mixed 3 languages in the same context and no one could understand, and they felt uncomfortable with the way you looked.
Even though you wanted to continue with the classes, for these reasons it didn't make sense to continue with the exchange.

I had an awesome experience volunteering at the hostel. All the volunteers and staff were incredibly welcoming and fun to be around, which made settling in very easy. The hostel has a great vibe and is in an amazing location only about 100m from the beach. The tasks were clear and well organised, so it was easy to balance work with enjoying the area. I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for a rewarding and enjoyable volunteering experience in Floripa.

At the hostel a found lovely family. The enviroment is really nice. Im so grateful to have a place where I can grow up, connect with the community and let my spirit be free. I'm still at the hostel. Sharing all the tools that I learned. Nice place to integrate everything. As well, I'm sharing some trilhas,tracks, I didn't expect to do that. It's a beautiful experience sharing with nature and the guest in a deeper way. Sometimes I shared classes in english, Spanish or portuguese. Perfect for me. Thanks the hostel family. I'll always be grateful for this place and the memories will be in heart.
