I loved working in the garden and fully enjoyed the beauty and quietness of the place. For me, it was a great way to recharge my batteries and reconnect with nature. My experience on the farm was very enriching. I learned about sustainability, how to work the land, how to make the most of the resources provided by nature and the care of chickens. In addition, I had a lovely relationship with Sonia and the friends I met there; they are all very lovely people. I enjoyed my time in Brumadinho a lot; everything is very peaceful in the countryside. Very grateful for the time and shared space.

My experience at the site was very good; I liked it a lot. The work was calm and flexible. The days off Sônia recommended should be on the day when Inhotim has free entry, so that the volunteer can visit. Sônia is an amazing, welcoming, good-humored woman and she taught me how to make pizza dough. Haha I highly recommend spending a season at the site, getting to know Sônia and her stories, getting to know Inhotim and the city of Brumadinho, walking through the center, going to Casa de Memória.

The ypê farm was a wonderful experience! Sônia is a truly exceptional person, she welcomed us very warmly, was always very generous, attentive, and lively! The farm is beautiful, incredibly peaceful, and the activities are quite physical, but the schedules are not rigid. Minha experiência no Sitío o sítio foi bem rápida e bem boa! A anfitrião Dona Sônia me acolheu com muito carinho; fiquei num qto privativo e recebi alimentação completa sabor de roça e ela fez biscoitinhos deliciosos e pizza! As tarefas flexiveis, e pude conciliar as horas livres para descansar e explorar o local, tb ofertou carona para o Inhotim, e na chegada e partida oq ajudou muito pois o sitio fica afastado do centro. Me conectei com outro viajante 1up na XP! O sítio é um refúgio, recomendo p quem dsja aprender sobre sustentabilidade e agroecologia. Amei coletar Urucum e a gatinha Maiara <3

Foi meu primeiro voluntariado, fui bem recebido. Dona Sônia tem muito conhecimento sobre agroecologia e saberes ancestrais, assim como tem ótimas dicas sobre o inhotim e as obras. O sítio ipê traz contato com a terra e trabalhos manuais a envolvendo. Me senti confortável e desafiado com os afazeres de um jeito positivo. Fiz coisas ali que nem sabia que conseguia. Recomendo. Dica: tirem um cochilo ou leiam um livro sob a sombra da mangueira ao lado do laguinho.

Estár no sítio ipê foi simplesmente enriquecedor, muitos apredinzados sobre sustentabilidade, cultivo, socialização com moradores locais, contato com a natureza, uma troca incrível que trouxe um grande enriquecimento para a vida que levaremos por onde andarmos, sem falar da "DONA SÔNIA" nossa querida anfitriã que nos recebeu como parte da família, ela uma jovem senhora Cheia de vida que foi nosso maior motivo de um dia poder voltar novamente nesse cantinho maravilhoso chamado SÍTIO IPÊ.
