I am so glad I volunteered here at the organization, the work was engaging and fun and the staff were so kind and welcoming. Staying in a house with the other volunteers meant I got to make friends with them easily :) I have some great memories from this experience!

I had a really great experience at Peterhof! I worked in the kitchen, where the tasks were easy and enjoyable. I had a private and comfortable room, and the atmosphere was very nice. Andreas was definitely the highlight of my stay — he was incredibly kind, patient and attentive, always making me feel welcome. He even prepared breakfast for me every morning and made delicious food! Despite the language barrier, he always made an effort to understand me. I would definitely love to come back in the future. Thank you for everything, Andreas! ❤️

This was an excellent way to spend my summer holiday. I was able to practise my German, have unique experiences and meet fantastic people. A particular pleasure was working with chef Andreas, an excellent, charismatic man, working with whom helped develop my confidence in oral German. With the necessary documentation, I was also allowed to work once a week in the Kindergarten. I thank Yannik for helping me organise this. The organisation of the work schedule was basically left to us volunteers. Make sure to get Kai, the housemaster's, WhatsApp before arrival. Transport: Deutschland Ticket!

I'm very grateful for the time I spent at the organization. You, alongside other volunteers, work with the chef, Andreas who is very nice and kind to the volunteers and the people served. The tasks were quite easy and the hours were respected. You get plenty of time to explore other cities. My sincere gratitude to Yannik and Kai who were so kind and made me feel welcome! And many thanks to the other volunteers!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I must say that I am extremely grateful for it. Yannik and Kai are amazing people: they're very welcoming, friendly and kind, and are always there for you if you need them. The work in the kitchen is easy, and I genuinely enjoyed it. Your tasks include helping with cooking, serving food, and cleaning. Working with people like Andreas and Joy was a blessing for me. I learnt a lottt from them, and they were always very patient, kind and supportive. I couldn't have asked for better!!! Thank you all so much for everything!

This was my second time at the organization and all I can say is thanks for the wonderful experience. The administrative team, Yannik and Kai, were as always super nice and kind. Andreas, the chef, is one of the kindest people; working with him makes the tasks really easy. I've learned a lot from him, and his meals are super delicious. (Thanks Andreas for the baking class!!).
I always recommend this project and I would return without hesitation 🩷

Thank you so much for your hospitality and support, Yannick, Kai, and Andreas! Everything was just amazing! I am incredibly happy that I got to be a part of your project. I absolutely loved the apartment, and the kitchen was so well-equipped with so many useful things! I've learned a lot of great new kitchen skills during my stay. It was also super fun to work together as a team. I only left yesterday, but I miss you all so much already!!!🤗😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The organization was my first real volunteering experience ever. I must say that I did the right choice, not only for the project itselft, but everything that comes along with it. Yannik, Andreas and the team were extremely welcoming and kind. The work in the kitchen was really easy, but you can feel that even the smallest actions can change society. Also, in the spare time, I was able to visit many places in Germany - countless castles, btw. I'm grateful for having this opportunity!

I am grateful for my time here at the organization. The church is a wonderful home-base for several impactful organized services. I truly enjoyed cooking and serving in the kitchen with the rest of the team. I felt fully safe during my time here and really immersed in the local communities. As a vegetarian, I really appreciated Mary going out of her way to include delicious veggie food each day. The area is accessible to many other areas within & without Germany. Schwelgernpark nearby is beautiful. As I was leaving there was a new chef coming in who seemed great. Say hi to Peter! (the goat). Danke!
