Aureliano is kind and welcoming. The work is simple, but sometimes repetitive. Overall, a good experience.

It was a really beautiful experience where I could meet people with a big heart sharing music and experience. It was really nice because I had time for myself and also for enjoying the nature and the place. I recommend to come to this place

I stayed at the host with Aureliano for two weeks. During this time I could practice my Spanish a lot, enjoy the magical nature around and get to meet many people as the clients who book the host change almost everyday. Las Vegas is a really small and calm village in the middle of the mountains. In my free time I went on hikes or to nearby villages by bus. At some points I would have wished for a bigger variety of tasks as I was "just" cleaning almost the whole time. Sadly the space for the volunteers wasn't really private nor cozy when I was there, which is being improved right now.

Volunteering at the camping was DEFINITELY a major highlight of this trip in Argentina. Pablo was extremely helpful, patient, and compassionate, and became our close friend in a very short period of time. He had us help with cleaning, housekeeping, and other tasks, and our free time was spent enjoying the views and space that the camp has to offer. Incredible experience, 10/10 recommend :)

It was an interesting experience and the community is really nice. Since we were the only volunteers (my boyfriend and I) at the moment, and Aureliano didn't sleep often in the house, we stayed some afternoons and nights alone in the camping site. But I did enjoy the work and the volunteer experience is really fair.

My experience with the host was more than rewarding; I learned to make homemade jams with Aure, it connects a lot with nature and there is a lot of peace in the place 💖 it's really beautiful.

Aureliano has a project with tremendous potential and a great passion for what he does. It was a highly educational experience and also a reminder that there are always aspects to improve in the organization and the experience of those who pass through the place. Best of luck with everything that lies ahead!

We took away many lessons and got to know a beautiful place. The host is a project with a lot of potential and you can tell that Aureliano devotes a lot of energy and vision to it. If you come, do it with an open mind, willingness, and a desire to adapt. The more flexible you are and the better you communicate, the more you will enjoy the experience. The volunteers' experience could be even more enhanced with a somewhat clearer and more detailed explanation of the tasks from the start and a more well-kept space, but we leave grateful for the opportunity and would like to return to see how it grew!

I do not recommend this volunteering. The initial agreement provided 5 hours daily and 5 days of work per week, but I worked between 6:30 and 7:00 hours per day, with no days off. The host's treatment of me was terrible and the communication was restrictive, reaching to control even the breakfast time, which caused me a lot of discomfort. Additionally, the accommodation was different from the advertisement: instead of the host, the volunteers stayed in an improvised structure next to the depot, with a lot of dust. I ended up leaving earlier than planned, and the host, as always, blamed me and spoke badly of my work.

Aureliano replied

I'm sorry this is how you perceive it, but your review omits important facts. You never worked 6 or 7 hours a day; on the contrary, on several occasions you did not complete the 5 hours agreed. You also did not reach the 5 days of work required to access the 2 days of rest, since you decided to leave early and without prior notice.
Breakfast was supposed to take place before the work schedule. Volunteer housing is never offered in the domes, but in a space designated for them.

Aureliano communicates poorly and in a condescending way toward the volunteers; he did not instruct us well and he is never on the property, which is why the volunteers handle everything. The volunteers' room is truly precarious and dirty. My partner and I felt very uncomfortable and undervalued even after discussing these issues with Aureliano, and we decided to leave the place after a week.

Aureliano replied

As the wise Mendoza thinker used to say, if you have nothing good to say, better not to say anything. The guys left without warning, leaving us without the help of the volunteers; they probably found another place. They are an example of people who prefer to run away without warning rather than talk about what is happening, not advisable, and the worst part is that we talk... and then they acted behind the scenes and left. Obviously this is not their place; here we work well, and things are discussed. Have a good trip.
