The experience

We are looking for 2 people to help on a family run campsite this Summer. The site is 20 mins walk from the sea, and the wonderful coastal path.
Duties will include helping with reception, and check in, helping manage bookings, cleaning of 4 bell tents, 2 caravans, and basic maintenance jobs on the site.
There’s plenty of free time, it’s a family environment. Accommodation in a shared double caravan or large tent on the site.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English

Over 18 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

5 hrs per day or 25hrs per week. 2 days off per week (without helping).
3 meals a day provided.

Activities & Shift

Reception, helping with check in and check out in the campsite.
Managing bookings online.
Helping change over 4 bells tents and a camper van, and caravan, cleaning and making beds in these 6 units.
General help on the campsite.
Help with maintenance and presentation of the site.
Working on a family environment, lots of free time, close to the beach and coastal path.
Ideally the same 2 people for the season although flexible on this.
