While I am grateful to have had this opportunity to visit and explore Puebla City, I cannot recommend this experience. First, I signed up to be a cleaner in the hostel. When I arrived, the host told me I'd be doing reception as well, which is not what I agreed to. While the host says she is flexible, she does not manage the volunteer schedules at all. When I wanted to visit Veracruz, I had to change schedules myself. Second, the host tried to drive me and other volunteers back while she was drunk after a night of dancing. Third, the host forced me to work while I had food poisoning.

Karen and her boyfriend made me feel very well hosted and welcomed in the hostel. Karen is flexible with hours so I had plenty of time to visit Puebla. I was taking photos of the object and designing the website. The volunteer's room is of good quality. The hostel's breakfast is basic so Karen also bought us other food. The hostel is just in the city center, therefore might be a bit loud from the street. It's a great place to meet other travelers! Highly recommend!

My first volunteering experience was very special. I felt at home away from home thanks to Karen, who gave me a warm welcome and kept all promises, and thanks to my dear teammates Juan and Pavel, who always looked after me like a younger sister.
Additionally, the location is excellent and, as a woman and a foreigner, I felt quite safe.
This month I not only learned a job but also the value of authentic hospitality and what it means to share each day with special people.

Staying at the hostel was an excellent experience in Puebla, Mexico; the vibe of the hostel was very pleasant, and I always felt well received and comfortable. The relationship with the staff and with the other volunteers was excellent; we organized activities and always worked very well together. I want to go back.

I loved the experience at the hostel! My first volunteering experience; from the very first moment the team was very kind to me. The tasks were very calm and flexible! The host's flexibility and incredible nature makes you feel at home; at no moment are you just one more or someone who covers something, you can always make new friends. The energy of Angel, Bee and the other volunteer guys is excellent! The location is perfect. Close to the historic center and the forts of Puebla. I could enjoy the city, meet people and learn more about Mexican culture!

My stay at the hostel was very good. The hostel is located in the center, which makes it very easy to get around the tourist spots. The best part of the experience was the cultural exchange with the other volunteers and the activities with the staff members. The only downside is that the three meals offered in the exchange are not provided, since they give you money but it's only enough to buy one meal per day. I hope to return to Puebla soon and be able to stop by the hostel again =)

I stayed for one month at the hostel, and to be honest I arrived in Puebla expecting little, but I arrived at the hostel and everything was very different from what I believed. The city has a lot of partying, a lot of fun, and at the hostel you have the freedom to enjoy that party. The reception job is not excessive, and without a doubt there are many opportunities to understand the local culture completely. Without a doubt the hostel is an isolated case in the list of hostels where I have stayed. If you are looking for a job where there is flexibility and at the same time partying, the hostel is for you.
