My experience at the hostel was great!😊 In the beginning it was a challenge to manage a reception for the first time but I really enjoyed working together with everyone! Lucas is a very impressive, hard-working and interesting person, the girls from reception and cleaning are amazing and we had a lot of fun together, I really felt like being a part of the team :) The work was calm and simple and whenever I was a little bit lost they helped me out, are flexible and wanted only the best for my stay on Fortaleza! I recommend the hostel for everyone, guests and volunteers! ☺️

The hostel It is an ideal model for volunteer work. Everything was fine for me here. The location is perfect, the quality is high, and the working hours are very convenient. En Albergaría is very quiet as a hostel, Fortaleza is a city that for me as a traveler comes alive more at night, with temperatures around 33 degrees or more during the day, the hostel is very well located, close to the beach, where after 5 pm you find a lot of movement, also a lot of sports are played there and that is a good motivator, the schedules are respected.

My experience at the hostel was good, I met people from various places and made several friendships! The biggest challenge these days was with the hostel kitchen, which is quite small and doesn't have a gas stove, which makes it difficult when preparing meals (mainly for us who are traveling and want to save money and cook our own food). Overall it was a good experience, very close to the beach and to cultural outings.

I stayed 3 weeks at the hostel. I recommend it for its location; it's excellent, on Praia de Iracema, you can do almost everything on foot. The room has air conditioning. The cleaning activities are to wash and organize all the rooms and communal bathrooms and to help in the café; And at the reception: service and maintenance of the cleanliness at night and to help in the café on weekends; I did not have access to the laundry as described in the job posting and in the kitchen there is no gas stove, there are appliances; what I did: general cleaning and reception what I learned: use of the Frontdesk Master system

This is the second time I volunteer at the hostel and I really liked it. The exchange is very fair. It is well located, in a safe neighborhood and close to the waterfront. This time I did more maintenance work, and it was really nice to be able to learn new things. I recommend it to the whole community!
