My time at the the shelter was nice ! They have so many dogs yet it is so impressive how they are all very well looked after: you can tell the staff really cares about the dogs! The accommodation was nice and well equipped, and they bought us groceries every-time we needed. Work hours were respected. The only thing I did not appreciate sometimes was their communication style. The workers would give different instructions which was confusing and some of the staff were a bit rude in some situations, although I can understand the shelter life can be stressful and overwhelming. Overall great experience.

I had a great stay at the the shelter. The accommodation is simple yet comfortable and seemed to have everything that we needed as volunteers. The work is independent from the staff and hours and work expectations were well respected. There isn't a whole lot nearby to do in time off, but we enjoyed taking the train to the town over which was lovely. Lastly, although I understand that the management staff are busy and constantly stressed, I would say that I didn't always experience the warmest energy from them. Overall, getting to give the dogs peace away from the the shelter was incredibly rewarding

I had a very good experience and nice time with the dogs. There are so many cute dogs to care for. Main tasks are easy, washing the dog bowls, walking them, brushing them! I really enjoyed my stay there. Bruno, monika and other workers are very nice too! Hope to come back one day

I had an amazing time at the the shelter. It was my first real volunteering experience, and i honestly couldn't ask for a better one. the the shelter takes incredible care of hundreds dogs, treating every one with the same love, respect and attention. They're all well fed, well cared for and truly loved. The dogs wellbeing is their priority and the team works hard every day to give them the best life possible. The volunteers are warmly welcomed, provided with comfortable accommodation and treated with kindness and respect. I met the shelter that i know i'll keep for the rest of my life

The experience was truly remarkable and the team does inspiring work on a day to day basis! I have huge respect for them and really appreciate their openness and help if needed. Do not expect them to be around you a lot, since they have a lot of work. The dogs are the cutest and your main task is to walk them and give them at least a couple of peaceful minutes away from the the shelter. I would recommend it to every person !

I had a great time at the the shelter! The main task is walking the dogs. It can be physical at times, but that was to be expected and I would say you get used to it quickly! Hours were respected and flexible when necessary, since volunteers work independently most of the time. The accomodation is comfortable, but it's on the the shelter property, so it can be noisy at times. I recommend earbuds if you're a light sleeper ;) If you love dogs and want to make a real impact, this is the place for you! The work was so rewarding and I already miss all the lovely dogs 💜

This dog the shelter was more than just a the shelter, I felt is was like a paradise for dogs where every dog was treated really good. Bruno and his team were always working and the atmosphere was one of a kind while being on shift. Task were pretty easy, groceries were also provided, amazing place, totally recommend! ✌🏻

First of all, the people here are amazing! this place is like a big family when you're gonna have so much fun.
The work is pretty easy and beautiful. Most of the time you just have to walk with dogs, washing their bowls and petting them, which is the best part of this volunteer. If you like dogs you should definitely come here! i'm gonna miss you all, thanks for this amazing experience!!
