I was really happy with my first Worldpackers experience! The job involves keeping three rental units clean for five days from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm or 1.00 pm. The workplace is about a thirty-minute walk or a twenty-minute bike ride away, as you'll be living in a local area, whilst the beaches and tourist areas are located between thirty minutes and an hour away by bus, yet the bus stop is two minutes' walk from the house. I shared a room in the house where Frank and his mum also live and where everyone was hospitable, helpful, approachable, kind, flexible, open-minded and respectful!

This was my first experience through WP and the guest house is a great training ground. They have three rental units that require daily cleaning and the work is light to medium in effort. Easy to do. Paco's mother was also helping out and was of great support. You can walk to the units or get a ride at 8am from Paco who's always helpful. The room where I stayed had AC and it was really comfortable. I highly recommend Franks house. It's close to local stores, street food, and transport for 🌊 time. Thank you to Paco, Frank, and mom for your hospitality. 🙌🏼

At first I was surprised it's not a tourist area, but later I really appreciated it. I saw real life in Mexico — local food, markets, and street fairs. Work was easy (preparing rooms, 10 min by bike) and I had plenty of free time to explore, visit beaches and places like Chichen Itza, Isla Mujeres, Carmen de Playa. Frank is a great host with a big heart. He really cares about volunteers and makes everything comfortable. Thank you for this experience! I'm leaving with a smile and will definitely miss this place. From Siberia ❄️ with love ❤️

It was a great experience, all I can say is thanks to both the guest house they are so nice and makes you feel welcome and part of their family .... I had a good time, all the task are easy to do, I did them as I was told, and everything worked just fine... I had a lot of free time , so I learned how to move around to the centro of Cancun, it was fun riding the Combi.. I always felt safe , I really recommend it and I'm ready to do it again... Thank you guys for everything, and I apologize if I did something wrong. Many Blessings, and thanks again.

Frank is usually nice, but sometimes he acts unpleasantlylike throwing away my food without saying anything. I asked him to show me the laundry, but he put his own clothes in, promising to do mine next, which he didn't. The work is a lot of cleaning. The bus ride to the beach is 1h10min. As a woman, I wouldn't want to drive back alone in the evening.luckily I wasnt alone. The guest throwed her trash in the sink, assuming we'll clean it.. On a positive note, he's understanding if you have issues, like getting lost or experiencing jetlag, and allows than flexibility in the cleaning schedule.

Frank replied

Hello Bibi, I don't remember throwing food and I wouldn't have done it without first asking, surely someone else did it or you would have asked me and we would have gladly verified it.

Regarding your clothes, it is indeed something that I offered to help you with so you could go out. As you know, it was not my responsibility and I still tried to help although it was not in the time you expected.

On public transport there are too many women traveling after midnight. Still, I don't understand what that has to do with us.

Finally, all guests know that they have to clean the deals they used. You didn't have to do it and I never asked you to do it.
