The experience

Its a tiny hostel for backpackers which have 4 female dorm beds and 4 male dorm beds. I run this little business alone. So it would be nice to have an extra hand. Ours is the only hostel in Alleppey which is right on the beach.

The beach is very nice and clean. Its suitable for sunbath, swim, play freesbee and yoga etc.

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Beginner Spanish or Beginner English

Between 18 and 50 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

The timings can be flexible. I need helps to clean the room and sweeping little out door. We can cook together and serve to guests and ourselves too. Other main thing to do is the registration of guests which is simple too. If you know to paint its a great advantage. My house is a cool place foe artists..

Activities & Shift

You can swim in this beach, play frisbee, do yoga, sunbath etc. Also you can watch sun and moon sets. If the weather is ok we can go to the sea on a raft and see the sunrise too

Rules

Please be back at home by 11:00pm. All the restaurant's and bars will be closed by then. So better to be back in home and chill
