I loved the two weeks I spent at the farm. They are beautiful people compromised with their work and your well being.
Unlike other volunteering programs, when they say you'll work, is because you'll really work. It's tiring and takes most of your time, but it's a rewarding and satisfying work. Your sweat is really helping them, but they'll always make sure that you rest often and feel right.
The facilities are simple, but more than enough! And the bycicles they provided allowed us to move around and explore the surroundings on our free time. Thank you to Hsuan, King and all the people there!

I had a great volunteer experience here. The hosts were well-organized, very nice, and provided good instructions. Our assigned tasks were interesting and varied, I learned a lot, and I felt like my work positively contributed to the farm and it's mission. The accomodations were rustic but adequate, meals were delicious, and I enjoyed exploring the area with other volunteers during the weekends. If you like being active and being outdoors, I highly recommend volunteering here!

Being at the farm is a great experience. Chia Ling is very organized, which is an important part of a fulfilling volunteer experience. The work can be physically challenging, but the workday is structured with long breaks for resting. I always felt that the owner and other staff appreciated how much we were helping. The food is delicious and plentiful. The guesthouse is very basic but comfortable. It can get quite damp, but that's what you get for this part of Taiwan. And the bugs are no joke; be prepared to cover up as much as possible.

I had a truly magical time helping around the school and farm. The work was extremely varied and physically demanding but I learned so much that it was a true pleasure. The accommodation is fairly rudimentary but easily manageable. The food provided is delicious and everyone was friendly. Sad to leave!

The stay at the project was amazing. The entire team around the farm is lovely and caring. I came there with no farming experience and was a bit scared that I would feel useless. But before every part the people took the time to explain it, show it and so I was able to help and learned so many things. From Farming techniques to knotting to woodwork. The only thing you should know, is that it's very rural and also the apartment is very basic. Also if you are scared of dogs, since it's a village, there are many, who also bark but don't bite. It I really had a good time and hope to come back.

My time helping at the Sustainability the project was really memorable and rewarding. The work varied a lot - I seeded, planted, harvested, etc and the variety was nice. Towards the end of my stay however, it was a lot of weeding and mulching, which wasn't as exciting, but you gotta do what you gotta do! The area was beautiful and the food was amazing and SO HEALTHY. The work wasn't terribly physically challenging and hours were respected really well. King and Zchren did everything they could to ensure the birthday I spent there was special. Good times!

Had a good time at the farm, didn't want to miss it. Its proper farm work, physically demanding but learned a lot about the basics of farming. The food they provide is good. They plant a large variety of crops.
The accommodation is very basic with plenty of mosquitoes, spiders, snails and a cat that sometimes visits. If the house could be more insulated from the outside, a bit cleaner and aminities like wifi, the stay would be great. Wish you guys the best with the farm!
