Wonderful farm that is covered in green from head to toe, it is a beautiful sight daily. I came during the summer however it wasn't dreadfully hot. Ozgur and his family (Anne & Baba) were super welcoming, I was always offered an extra portion of food & more cups of tea. Ozgur is also super intelligent and full of wisdom so it's great to have conversations with him. In the farm you get to feed animals, forage, help with pipes, hoe plants, and etc. I really cant begin to explain how much i've learned during this. It was very challenging but super rewarding, organic farming is very honorable.

Özgür was lovely, the place was beautiful and you're surrounded by nature and other farms with lovely welcoming people. I was able to eat local food, meet locals and dine with them, feel welcomed in every situations (the host has perfect english). Though, I do not recommend coming in the winter, the cold may make the work a little bit harder, the sleeping situation is tricky and work hours are not easy to manage if you'd like to visit your surroundings. You get two days off of your choice, which is great but hitchhiking is the only way to get to Akhisar (30min away)

During my time volunteering at the farm I truly felt welcomed into Ozgur and his family's home. I learned a lot about sustainable and organic farming as well as what makes it so important yet challenging. Some of the highlights for me were getting to experience a local village gathering and attend a wedding celebration. The food is delicious and its rewarding to see the fruits of your labor.

I didn't expect to become so attached to Ozgur, his family, and the farm! This stay allowed me to learn more about the local culture, farming and sustainability, but also about myself. The environment is very peaceful, a paradise for nature lovers (especially cats)! I ate very well (even as a vegetarian), with products almost exclusively from the garden, and I quickly felt at home. I am truly grateful to Ozgur and his parents for their warm welcome. I will not forget this wonderful stay and hope to come back one day 🫶🏻

I learned a lot of things on Ozgur's farm that I didn't expect to learn, not just farming but various other skills, like for example hospitality, sustainability which includes not wasting anything, perhaps even philosophy, the importance of having gratitude for what you have in life. Ozgur has the attributes that a good teacher should have and his farm is a good place if you want to grow as a person, I only spent a short while at his farm and there would still be a lot more to learn, perhaps at a later date that will happen. My respect for organic farmers got a lot higher after this experience

This place is perfect for immersing yourself in local culture, learning organic farming, and appreciating the work behind it. The tasks were varied—some heavy, some easy—but always fulfilling. Discuss the schedule if you work remotely, as activities are spread throughout the day. Özgür is passionate and inspiring in the way he cares for the farm, and he and his parents cook delicious meals. A warm hug to the whole family (and the animals). And if you go, bring Anne some flowers.

Even in a short time, i could learn several thing about sustnabilitty, the workbin a farm and the turkish culture. I admire ozgur for what je is, a human connected to the nature and treating it Well. Even If other prefer using pesticides to Make it easier and more productive, ozgur prefer do it in a natural way as even If it takes more time and he has less food. People like him are Not afraid to do it the right way, he will hopefully inspire others in the future. I will come back for a longer period next time m'y friend to learn more about farming and sustanabilitty. Thanks for everything.

I spend two weeks at Özgur's farm and it was such a wonderful experience ! Özgur is an amazing man, very open-minded and always ready to teach you a lot of things about farming life and sustanbility; turkish cultur ... You can talk about everything with him, he's funny and he cook like a pro ! Regarding the work at the farm, the hours are respected, you'll learn a lot of things (take care of animals, how and when harvest fruits and vegetables, drive the tractor ...). Özgür and his parents welcomed me to their farm. They made me feel like part of their family. I learned about Turkish culture customs, some phrases, Kemal Sunal show, traditional food and an endless list of valuable details. There's always something to do and learn on this farm. The animals were great company on our daily life. I learned about the importance of organic farming and how to make the most of crop energy, being mindful of every process like soil care, harvesting, cultivating, and jam. Don't hesitate to ask about general care process, Özgür is always willing to share his wisdom.
