My experience as a volunteer at the host was amazing. I enjoyed every moment, connected with travelers like me from all over the world and learned about the local culture. Kurtis, the host, is an extremely generous person, who cares about your well-being at all times and makes you feel part of a very close team as if you were family, even though he has been working in this business for over 4 years and still has not learned how to play Rage Cage properly. I could not recommend more this experience, I will definitely repeat it. If you enjoy parties you cannot miss this experience!!

Kurtis is very welcoming and super sweet even when there is an issue he wasn't there for the most part of my experience because he was opening a hostel so he didn't get to see what was really going on. The other boss was very rude towards me and another one of the volunteers as well for basically my entire time there so I was miserable and not enjoying my time, which was supposed to be the whole point. I ended up leaving halfway through the experience. The living situation was honestly not livable and terrifying to me personally.

Great experience! the host is the best party event of the host. You get to meet a lot of travelers and learn about running a nightlife business. Kurtis is really nice and makes sure you having a good time. The city is beautifull also. If you have energy to party, likes sales and meeting new people, thats your place!

The host is great fun. You have to be able to handle and pace your alcohol well (as there's a lot of it), but Kurtis and the team are always a good laugh and fun to be around. If you're extroverted and want a party experience in a really cool town then I'd defo recommend

I had an amazing time helping the host! the host is such a beautiful little town by the volcano. You will get to know every street easily. the host team was warm and welcoming, and I immediately felt at home. Kurtis is hands down the best boss I've ever worked for; he is funny, caring, and reliable. His co-host Charlie was also very fun, nice, and supportive. I had such a fun time working with them. Tasks are simple, yet I was able to learn a lot in terms of social skills and event-running. Needless to say, I enjoyed meeting so many travelers from all over the world.
