Volunteering at the house was special; the space is simple but very cozy, the tasks are tranquil, and the city is a spectacle in itself. The host (Gabi) is a woman simply spectacular in every sense; it's a pleasure to have her around in daily life. And the icing on the cake are two extremely bonded pets, Kaia and Marley (my big buddy) from the hangouts in the bush. The experience is well worth it❤️

The the home was simply incredible! I’m biased to say it because I spent two months at the house! The host Gabi was super kind during my welcome, presenting the tasks in an organized way so as not to weigh on anyone; the work is easy to do, with no mystery. You will fall in love with Kaya and Marley, the dogs that bring joy to the house! Kaya is a little more shy and loves to run! Marley loves a dog! You can come without fear because the experience will be unforgettable! 😍🥰🥰

My experience at the house was amazing! It was really good to get back on the road and to volunteering with Gabi as the host. Gabi is a communicative person, assigns the tasks very clearly and is always proposing activities to bring the group together. Marley and Kiara are the hostel's cuties; they became our AUmigos. There was Marley’s AUniversário party!! All in all, the tasks are very calm! If you want to live amazing days and with muuuita Buena vibra, this is the volunteering!! ;)

The name says it all, it really feels like our home! The space is so cozy and welcoming that you don't even want to leave, I spent almost two months there haha. Gabi is an amazing host and friend, she has volunteered before and knows what it's like to be in our place, that makes all the difference! She makes us feel completely at ease and is always coming up with moments for us to share; she knows what volunteering is really about. The tasks are super easy and São João is a charming city. I leave there with a warm heart and I'm very grateful for what I experienced in this little corner, I'll be back.

I've been at WP since 2020 and I can safely say that this was my BEST EXPERIENCE! All the warmth, exchange, and possibilities with Gabi have been wonderful. Being able to reconnect with my art has been a gift, and it gets even better with the presence of the volunteers, the wonderful dogs, and the hostel space is wonderful. I highly recommend it, not to mention the city of São João and the neighboring towns.

It was my first volunteering experience. And it couldn't have started any better. The host welcomed me very warmly, and also explained how the hostel worked and what the tasks would entail. As for the tasks, they were quite easy. Besides that, I had the opportunity to interact with the other guests and volunteers. It was amazing to meet new realities. Moreover, Gabi always tried to organize some activities with the volunteers. I loved it. We skipped Carnival, watched a movie, and went to cachu. And there are also the pets Marley and Kaia. I am leaving this volunteering with a sense of nostalgia and a heart full of gratitude❤️🥰♥️
