Hi everyone, I'm Bianca and I'm 21 years old. It was my first time in Brazil and my first time with world packers. I don't know the language and I was completely alone for the trip, but Gabi took care of me all the time, she answered all my questions and was very kind. When I was in the hostel everyone helped me adapt and understand things. I practiced my English and started learning some Portuguese too. I tried many typical dishes and visited the city which is safe (more than big cities) The place is beautiful and peaceful, and it gives you a lot of “the home”!

Endless gratitude for this experience with host Gabi and Laís! The hostel staff are super welcoming, warm, and charismatic. I joined the team from day one and felt at home. The hostel is organized, clean, and the activities are well planned to ensure a balance of duties among everyone. The schedules, shifts, and activities are respected, including days off. Everything is arranged in advance. The place is full of good vibes and I hardly saw the days pass. I did many outings with Gabi and Laís. I had some medical issues and Gabi didn't spare any effort to help me!! I recommend ❤️

I was warmly welcomed at the home. We slept in a single bed, there wasn't a double bed in the shared rooms, but we had already expected that from the signup photos. Breakfast was offered in a set amount, and host Gabi would come by with something for us, the volunteers, from time to time, which I thought was pretty cool. The quiet hours from 9 PM to 9 AM at the house are quite interesting, but they sometimes failed because of us volunteers. After completing the tasks, Gabi would make us feel at ease to enjoy the rest of the time.

I spent wonderful weeks at the house in São João Del Rei :)) The weekly calendar with shifts and days off is well organized and sent on Sundays. There are two shifts: morning 7:00-12:00 and afternoon 12:00-17:00. In the morning shift we clean the ground floor, provide the breakfast foods and do the checkouts. In the afternoon, we clean the upper floor and carry out the check-ins. Both in the city and at the hostel I could participate in great events. It is also very good if you want to slow down a bit and rest. I met amazing people! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Gabi, Lais, Vinicius, Kuri and Yanca!

Casa Buena Vibra is simply incredible, much better than I imagined.
My grandfather passed away while I was volunteering, and Gabi was super calm and quick to handle the situation, allowing me to leave earlier than planned.
With all the certainty in the world I want to return to stay longer.
What I can say is that it's a calm and safe space, with a supermarket nearby.

The home is a delicious space. Gabi is a sweetheart and makes us feel at home. The whole team of volunteers was very kind and friendly to me from start to finish. The house is beautiful, with well-organized spaces and the tasks are easy; Gabi cares about our well-being. Marley and Kaya are such cuties, you just want to take them home.
