Volunteering with the hostel for Oktoberfest was one of the beat decisions I have ever made! It was such a cool group of volunteers from all over the world. I made some amazing friends and we all got to know more about beautiful Bavaria, its people and its culture. It was like a month-long party. Even work felt less like a chore and I really enjoyed it. The management team was also excellent! ♥️♥️ If life brings me back this way, I will definitely go back for another festival season.

Incredible first WorldPackers experience! You will meet lots of new people, make friends, and have plenty of opportunities to go to the festival or explore Munich. However, I'd only recommend this opportunity if you are willing to put in the work, as it is on the more demanding side for volunteer experiences! It was probably one of the most amazing experiences of my life 🥹 The team was wonderful, we were always here for each other and i made some (hopefully) life-long friends from all around the world. Regarding the position it was just what I expected, the shifts were 7 hours long and as an all-rounder the tasks vary depending on the day (taking people to their tents, cleaning tents, helping in the kitchen...). I'd definitely recommend volunteering with the hostel to anyone who's looking for a true Bavarian experience, making new friends, and of course enjoy beer! Thanks for everything 🩷

This was a very fun experience! Lots of drinking music games & party. I made so many new international friends. The location is great. The metro is a quick 5 min walk which makes it easy to reach the city center and there’s a beautiful park & lake across the street you can enjoy a beautiful sunset . It’s a balance of party and connecting with nature. They also send the work schedule in advance so you can plan your stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend Oktoberfest! Thank you!

I had a great experience at the hostel! DAS IST GUT! 🍻 I loved the international atmosphere, daily tours, and costumes for volunteers. The managers were professional and involved, joining us for games, chats, and even dressing up for Oktoberfest. Great location, with a metro station, shops, and a beautiful park nearby. Dorms had heating and electricity, while tents had Wi-Fi and were closer to common areas. The workload might be a bit demanding during setup and dismantling, but overall, a great way to experience Oktoberfest behind the scenes! Thanks Festa! Hope to be back ❤️ Prost 🍻
