The Perfitt family was unbelievable ! Everyone was so kind with the volunteers and this experience gave me a lot in human relations. Maria was amazing with us, told a lot of incredible stories and good jokes (much in the undercover game 🤣). Anthony was so kind and he is definitely a daddy with a big heart : always smiling and happy. And the kids what to say : good vibes, joking a lot and with a very good musician (Ieaun the futur most famous guitarist in the world, Shirley-Jane always laughing for everything and Idellia with a big smile. And Veronica such a good person with infinite stories.

This was so much more than a volunteering experience—it was finding a new family and making beautiful friendships. Every member of the family is incredibly welcoming, kind, and caring, and they made me feel at home from the very beginning. Sometimes, you arrive as a stranger and leave with people who feel like family. I'm so grateful for every moment, and I truly encourage anyone to give themselves the chance to get to know them—you won't regret it. 🤍

My experience with the Parfitt family was incredible!!
Anthony is patient, passionate and always happy to share his knowledge. Maria prepares delicious meals with love and care. Together with their three amazing children, they made me feel like a member of the family from the first day. Their kindness and generosity created a welcoming and heart-warming atmosphere; they went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt cared for.
The surroundings are breathtaking and you get a chance to live the lifestyle of a countryside village.
I will forever cherish this memories and these people <3

I had the best stay at the Brig-y-Don, a stunning location in Pembrokeshire with a wonderful family. I learnt so much from Anthony and had a great time working with him in the fields, while Maria is a fantastic host and provided such great hospitality. Fully recommended!

Such a lovely and meaningful experience 🤍
The host and his family were incredibly kind and welcoming, and having a private room made the stay even more comfortable.
The area and scenery were absolutely beautiful, and I learned so much about farm work during my stay.
If I ever get the chance, I’d love to come back again someday.
Thank you for everything! ✨

I want to thank you so much. This family has more than 10 years of experience as hosts on these platforms, and it shows in every detail. My experience was incredible: it's a very peaceful, calm place, and the activities are simple, though, of course, being the countryside, it does require some effort. I want to give a big, big thanks to Maria for her delicious meals and hospitality, and to Anthony for his care, his boundless patience, his calm demeanor, his sensitivity in the way he speaks, and his dedication in the pottery classes. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

My experience in Freshwater East was amazing. From day one, I felt part of the family in a warm and welcoming environment. The room was comfortable, the farm tasks were interesting, and I had the chance to learn pottery with Anthony, which I really valued. The atmosphere at home and in the community was great, with lovely moments like listening to piano. The surroundings are beautiful: sea, trails, and cliffs where we even tried fishing. I'm very grateful for this first Worldpackers experience. Thank you very much Family Parfitt 🙌🏾

I had the best experience on Worldpackers staying with this amazing family in Wales. They are incredibly kind, empathetic, and always willing to help. Even with my limited English, they made me feel welcome and treated me like one of their own. Anthony has endless patience, Maria cooks healthy and delicious meals, and their children are an absolute joy. Living with them was effortless and magical. Thank you for everything: the kindness, happiness, affection, table games, cinema, the delicious food and your warm hospitality. I will always remember this experience with gratitude and love.

I had a wonderful time, and I wholeheartedly recommend this farmstay. I am glad I chose the home as my first farmstay experience. Everyone was inviting and so welcoming — they really make you feel like part of the family. Both Maria and Antony are kind and patient in guiding you through their routine, both on and off the farm. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me. I gained insight and appreciation for what it takes to run an organic farm, and the effort and dedication that go into every step and aspect. I will miss the whole family and my fellow volunteers.

It was an amazing experience! The family is incredibly loving and knows how to make you feel comfortable, even if your English isn't perfect. It was a real pleasure to share moments with them. The environment is beautiful, with a beach right next to the house and stunning hiking trails nearby. Special mention for Anthony's pottery workshop — such a calming and peaceful activity, I absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for everything!
