Where to begin... I spent 2 months with the team and I could not have wished for a better experience. Some became real friends that I'm so excited to meet again at some point, and the mood while working and after work was so fun. It felt like being on summer camp :) the hostelsi super well located in front of the pir (event thothe the hostelis quite a small town anyways), always 1 min away from the best sunsets. The main lounge invites you to sit with a good book or contemplate the wonderful views through the large window, from which you can observe local birds and marine wildlife. Housekeeping tasks are simple, in my case, I helped with maintenance, so each day was different and never monotonous. The staff team is big and international and although i dont speak the language very well i feel so confortable. The kitchen is huge and very well-equipped.

I couldn't have asked for more for my first volunteering experience! It was perfect. All the staff were super welcoming, and I felt welcome from the very first moment. Thethe the hostelarea is beautiful, and thethe the hostelfacilities are perfect. But for me, what really stands out and what I take with me are the people I met. I'm leaving with a great memory. Everyone was super friendly, we did a lot of things together, and there was a really good atmosphere among everyone. You've set the bar very high for my next volunteering experiences! I stayed inthe the hostelfor three weeks Through this experience, I came to love Canada—especiallythethethe hostel. the hostelhas amazing nature and a wonderful community. The volunteer shifts at the hostelwere very reasonable, leaving enough free time to enjoy whatthe the hostelhas to offer. Inthethethe hostel, you can enjoy many activities such as hiking trails, wildlife watching, surfing, and more. All of the staff and volunteers at the hostelwere so nice, kind, and understanding. I feel very lucky to have met them. Because of them, I was able to make many great memories. I truly hope I can come back someday.

Gael was a great addition to our team. He is a super friendly easy going person. He got along well with everyone in the team. He was always punctual and willing to work. His helpful nature and great energy greatly contributed to the hostel’s daily operations. Gael was a pleasure to be around and would happily have him again. Wish him the best in his new job in town and his travels !
