ABOUT US & THE OPPORTUNITY:
Our properties, Chalet Baita Zelda in Trepalle and Apartment Gembro in Teola, welcome international visitors looking for comfortable, self-contained accommodation during their mountain holidays. Set in the Livigno area, they provide a welcoming base for guests coming to ski, snowboard, and enjoy the winter atmosphere of this duty-free alpine resort.

We’re looking for an individual or a couple who enjoys meeting people, takes pride in keeping a home clean and organized, and feels comfortable working independently with remote support from management. The commitment covers the full winter season, with a possible extension into early May.

This work-exchange opportunity combines shared accommodation, a weekly food stipend, and seasonal benefits with hands-on responsibilities. It could suit a digital nomad with a flexible workload, a traveler seeking a longer stay, or someone who enjoys seasonal hospitality and mountain life.

Why join us?
- Spend the winter in Livigno with accommodation and utilities provided.
- Enjoy access to skiing, snowboarding, and the resort’s lively après-ski scene around your duties.
- Experience seasonal celebrations and ski and snowboard events.
- Gain practical experience in guest hosting, property care, and online support.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES & WHAT WE PROVIDE:
You’ll help keep our properties ready for guests and support a smooth, friendly stay from arrival to departure. During quieter periods, you’ll also assist with online tasks for KaterBlue.com, our global maritime and travel services platform.

Your chalet responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming guests and organizing check-ins and check-outs.
- Responding to guest questions and coordinating with management remotely.
- Cleaning apartments and preparing them for incoming guests.
- Washing sheets and towels, making beds, and organizing supplies.
- Checking inventory and reporting missing items or maintenance needs.
- Carrying out basic DIY and minor upkeep, such as changing bulbs and small touch-ups.
- Handling occasional guest cash payments when instructed.

Depending on your skills and the chalet’s workload, digital tasks may include:
- Online research, data entry, and listing updates.
- Translation or content assistance in your native language.
- Basic administration and social media support.

Expect approximately 5–6 hours of work per day, 6 days per week, with the schedule depending on guest turnover. Any personal remote work needs to fit around these hosting responsibilities.

In return, we provide:
- Free shared accommodation in a heated studio dormitory with a kitchenette, Wi-Fi, bedding, and lockers.
- Utilities included: heating, water, electricity, and Wi-Fi.
- A season-long Livigno ski pass, provided after your first month.
- A weekly stipend to help cover food costs.
- Access to chalet facilities, including the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry.
- An experience certificate or reference upon successful completion.
- This is a seasonal work-exchange arrangement with a stipend and the benefits listed above.
