The hostel has a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere, and the location is absolutely a 10/10—super convenient for exploring around. I made so many great friends here! Everyone, from the volunteers to the manager—Emre, so warm and supportive. It truly felt like a big, loving family away from home. Thanks to Emre,who made my stay a wonderful and unforgettable memory!!!!!!He always create welcoming vibe for both guests and volunteers, I really enjoy my time there,especially on my birthday,we had an amazing night together with guests and volunteers. I also loved the moments people spent together drinking Turkish tea and sharing local food.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a 10/10 volunteer experience,discover city vibe,and meet new people.The hostel is pretty close to Taksim and the metro station with many grocery shops near by.It’s not easy to say goodbye but see you!!!

It was such a delightful and beautiful experience in Windrose Hostel since the day I came in Emre received me with a Turkish tea and we spend some time talking with nice guests at night in such a quiet and mindful environment, something that I really appreciated in the night shifts. My schedule was flexible and the tasks were light mostly focused on checking the cleaning of the bathrooms and registering the bookings from the email, although I made a couple of check ins. I enjoyed too much the tours around the city. I am more than grateful with all the staff and I hope to see them again :)

Really good place to stay if you want to enjoy the heart of Istanbul. Located near Taksim Square, really close to tourist attractions, restaurants, and pastries shops. The work is easy and fast to learn. We had a really good experience working at the night shift reception. They always respected the working hours and were flexible with the schedule. I would definitely recommend this host. Thank you for everything!
