Victor and Michelle were fantastic - friendly, approachable and always responsive. The other volunteers were equally welcoming and made me feel at home. Shifts were fair and exactly as agree to. Since it was my first volunteer position there was a bit of a learning curve, but they made the transition smooth and easy. Hostel is clean and central to the city. I would definitely return!

I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived. I was given a tour about the place, shown my bed and task I'd be doing during my stay from November 23 2022 to December 14 2022 (3 weeks) There were at times that I wish there was more communication with a set menu and knowing what guest would be checking in/out. My overall experience was good, I had plenty of time to relax and walk about the city. I really enjoyed my time at the hostel. Victor and his family are very friendly and accessible. Your hours and your days off are respected, the tasks are simple. The location of the place is very central; you have parks, supermarkets, and transportation nearby. I would highly recommend that place and I will certainly return one day to visit or volunteer.

This experience was really lovely, obviously I fully recommend this volunteering opportunity. The location is great, whether you reach the downtown area on foot or by metro; there are several shops nearby, as well as a very nice park and other attractions for sightseeing, I loved getting to know Guadalajara.❣️

Due to health reasons I couldn't qualify and write a review. Natalie was a good volunteer. She consistently showed commitment, responsibility, and a very good attitude during her stay. She adapted well to the hostel's needs, was flexible when it was necessary to adjust shifts, and maintained a very pleasant communication with our guests, making them feel well cared for. The Guadalajara hostel experience was very pleasant for me; they are very hospitable people and I am very grateful for the opportunity to have had them open their doors to me. This volunteering was my first experience and it was very pleasant to be able to collaborate with the hostel. Víctor and Liza are very kind people, just like all the people who work at the place. They explain in a clear and simple way the activities that have to be carried out, which makes the work easy to understand from the start. The place is clean and very quiet, hence the stay is very easy to bear.
