My first volunteering experience during my long-term travels, and I'm glad I chose this hostel in Bled! ❤️ Denis and Špela are very kind and caring, making volunteers feel like family. Nina and Domen are also super sweet! I even extended my stay for Špela's birthday, and it turned out to be such a fun night! 🥳 I also met some lovely backpackers and got to explore together during my time off. Overall, a really good experience with lovely people and great memories. Thank you for making my first volunteering experience a special one! 💚

I had an incredible month volunteering here. the hostel is an amazing place with a fantastic social atmosphere and great facilities. I got along really well with the staff and made some great friendships in the volunteer room. The work was straightforward and very manageable, and overall the experience was better than I had hoped for. Denis and Špela are very kind and fun hosts who checked in with me when I was low energy and made sure I could have awesome adventures outside of the hostel, like hiking Triglav:) Highly recommend!

I really really enjoyed my time at the hostel! denis and špela are such lovely and fun people, which created such a positive environment to be in. the tasks are simple and the hosts set out their expectations clearly which is really good for communication. denis is really great at providing us volunteers amazing opportunities such as ziplining! i absolutely adore the community at this hostel and can't wait to be back!! :)

I'd definitely recommend this volunteer experience! Špela and Denis are kind and generous, always welcoming volunteers warmly. the hostel is very social, close to the lake, with a bar downstairs where I made some of the best memories. The work is manageable: around 2 hours of cleaning in the morning, 20 mins closing the kitchens at 10 pm, and helping with check-ins twice a week. You also have to check on the hostel in the evenings, but since there's always a couple of volunteers around it's not difficult. Slovenia is absolutely stunning and the people are lovely. I'll definitely be back!

Dennis and Spela were awesome hosts workwise and to hang out with. They were always friendly and the work that they asked wasn't very hard at all only consisting of a few hours in the morning and then a reception shift in the day rotating between all the volunteers each week. They were always helpful and friendly to chat with and great at providing advice on places to go outside of Bled. Would highly recommend to anyone looking at volunteering here was great fun and are great hosts to have

I didn't think volunteering here would affect me as much as it did, I made life long friends, left with so many happy memories and a new family. The work was very simple where you change beds/clean the hostel for about 2 hours in the morning and work a reception shift about once a week, thank you Denis and Špela for a life changing month.

This was my first time using Worldpackers and I couldn't of chosen a better place to do it. Denis and spela and all the other volunteers made me feel welcome and I had such a good time in lake bled. I would recommend it to everyone!!!

Cannot explain how much this experience has changed my life! I stayed here for 2 weeks and I wished I stayed for longer !!Spela and Dennis were the most amazing host, they were so welcoming from the moment I got there, as well as the other bar staff and volunteers. The work itself is very simple and usually done by 12, and then usually once a week you will do reception which is around 4 hours. Thank you Spela and Dennis and the team/volunteers for making a place so far from home feel like home! Already counting down the days until I'm back next year ❤️❤️❤️

I Had such an amazing time volunteering at the hostel! Denis, Špela and all the team are such kind, friendly, hardworking people and were always happy to help with anything. The work itself was straightforward and very manageable, which gave me plenty of time to explore Bled. I also really enjoyed getting to know the other volunteers, making so many amazing friends and memories.
