This was an amazing experience. I only speak english which made it hard to communicate because almost everyone here speaks only Portuguese but everyone put in effort to communicate with me even with the language barrier which I appreciated a lot. Everyone here is kind and really cares about the work that they are doing. The hostel is absolutely stunning and the trails around it brought me to some of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The only downside I had was that it is secluded so most of the time is spent at the hostel and I wished I could have explored the town more.

Unfortunately, for me the experience was nothing as described on the title (Cultivo orgânico e sustentável). I've tried to find a middle ground and communicate multiple times with the host (Julio) to be able to work with what the title says, but the maximum I got to do was cutting lavenders once. I was patient and gave it time since it rained some days, but even on the days that didn't rain and other volunteers (from WOOF) were working in agriculture, I still wasn't able to participate. Wish he could've shown more effort in making this work for us, as I've been really flexible every day...

I had an amazing time here! Both Paula and Uriel were amazing hosts, and I couldn't have asked for anything better! The mountains and waterfalls are stunning (pictures don't do justice), and the 3 dogs here feel like your family. The work is easy and there's some veggies and herbs in the garden you can use. Also make sure to bring a jacket and any other special items you need, as it's located far from town. Thank you for this beautiful opportunity and I hope to come back :))

O hostel escopark foi uma experiência incrível! Cachoeiras lindas com aguas cristalinas e natureza muito bela. O trabalho é bem tranquilo e descontraído. Os anfitriões são bem legais e amigáveis! Pretendo voltar mais vezes futuramente.

Meu primeiro voluntariado foi no melhor lugar possível. Tive uma conexão muito boa em meio a natureza e com o pessoal de lá. Agradecer ao Júlio por ter me dado essa chance de ir voluntariar, aprendi muito com ele. Ao Uriel que foi super atencioso também, trocamos umas ideias bem legais. A dona Angélica a cozinheira de mão cheia, fazendo comidas super gostosas e uma ótima companhia. São pessoas que vou lembrar e levar comigo pro resto da vida. Fora os hóspedes que foram sensacionais também, conheci várias histórias e isso me motivou a continuar fazendo outros voluntários. Obrigado por acolher

Meu voluntariado se focou principalmente na manutenção da pousada (limpeza, organização e cuidado com os arredores), as cachoeiras das trilhas são lindas e nos divertimos muito. Júlio é um ótimo anfitrião, pontual, acolhedor. educado e muito simpático. Muitas saudades dos cachorross

Nosso tempo no hostel foi muito bom, ambiente confortável e receptivo. As montanhas são um espetáculo e Julio é um excelente anfitrião e se tornou nosso amigo, a troca foi muito justa e os serviços são simples e muito bem orientados. Esperamos voltar outra vez e recomendamos à todos que sejam entusiastas e queiram aprender mais sobre à região serrana e natureza local. Façam as trilhas e dêem muito carinho nos cachorros!

A experiência no hostel foi incrível! Tenho muito a agradecer ao Júlio, Uriel e Fernando que me receberam muito bem no hostel. Todos da equipe foram muito simpáticos e atenciosos. Durante todo o voluntariado foram bem claros quanto as tarefas e tive total liberdade para explorar o local e aprender mais sobre a região. As trilhas sao lindas e a cachoeira é ótima! Vale muito a pena visitar. Fui em um período de muita chuva na região, porém nao faltaram atividades e momentos pra se conectar com a natureza que é única nesse lugar. Estou me programando para retornar ao o hostel no futuro😁
