My time at the hostel was very chill. The hostel is super comfy and clean, and through my work at the reception I could connect with other travellers easily. The tasks were simple and explained well. Anytime there was a problem, Ana was usually there to help, although once there was an unusual situation that I didn't know how to handle bc she didn't explain it in advance. Only downside: You can't do that much in La Fortuna without having to pay quite a bit for the tours. So it's really nice that volunteers get discounts, but it still adds up if you want to da lot of things.

I really enjoyed each day of staying in La Fortuna. The work and tasks are easy to accomplish throughout the shift. Ana is so kind and understanding, she helped me with the hundreds of questions I always had. She'll always be available for any situation that may come up. There's a lot of time to explore and walk through the center of the town and the discounts you get as a volunteer for tours are really nice as well! The fans and curtains on each bed are very much appreciated and it makes you feel like you have a lot of privacy. I'll always remember my time here and the buenas vibras, thank u!

I had a great time at the hostel! The tasks were simple and easy - mainly reception, folding sheets, and cleaning up the common kitchen. You have a lottttt of free time. Ana is an amazing host! She answered any questions and was accommodating! Thank you Ana!

Working at the hostel with Ana was a pleasure! The tasks were super clear (and even written down!) and I even had the chance to have a shift that allowed me to do lots of different things during the day:) Ana was also always there if I had any questions or issues. Overall, it's a really well organized place, with a cleaning lady coming everyday, big kitchen with lots of storage and with access to a variety of cooking tools, clean room… My friend and I had the chance to see a variety of things, we truly loved the experience and the bound with Ana;)

I had a great time at the hostel. There are many tours, hikes, and activities easily accessible from the hostel. The work is not difficult and leaves you with time to do other activities. Also Ana the host is willing to help you coordinate anything you need.

Ana was an amazing host that taught me everything I needed to know to work in reception! It was a very easy system to follow and the work was not difficult. I was able to meet lots of people, practise my spanish and learn new skills. There is so much to do in your free time and everything you need is super close. It was such a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it!

Una experiencia gratificante, pude aprender mucho, me permitió practicar los idiomas, conocí a muchas personas y Ana fue una excelente persona y anfitriona, las tareas que desempeñé si requerían de responsabilidad y compromiso pero nada que no se pueda hacer, si quieres hacer voluntariado en el hostel buscando conectar con las personas, ser atento y mejorar tus habilidades este lugar es para ti, eso si ten en cuenta que al ser un lugar ubicado en el trópico debes estar preparado y anuente pero fuera de eso todo bien, agradecida por todo y me llevo un buen recuerdo de Costa Rica, el hostel vida!

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue excelente. Ana su anfitriona es muy generosa, organizada y flexible. Su comunicación es clara, los horarios se respetan y coordinan sin ningún problema. El hostel es amplio, tiene muchos baños y duchas, un parque y le cruza un pequeño río por dentro. Hay contacto directo con los huéspedes y con los demás voluntarios. Lo recomiendo 100% si te queres sentir como en casa. Muchas gracias Ana por el tiempo compartido y por tomar mis clases de pilates 😊

No pude tener mejor primer voluntariado. Ana es una persona muy cálida, las instrucciones de mis tareas fueron claras y es muy flexible con los días libres. Me llevo en el corazón esta experiencia, an Ana y Mila ❤️🩹 muy agradecida por hacerme sentir tan bien durante el periodo que me quede en el hostel. Repetiría mil veces esta experiencia. Un hostel con el hostel super relajada, tiene muchos ambientes para disfrutar. las tareas son muy básicas y se respetan los horarios de cada unx. He conocido mucha gente de otros paises y me encanto compartir con ellos, recomiendo mucho este lugar para conocer La Fortuna, además cuenta con varios tour con buenos descuentos y puedes sumarte a las clases de yoga. Ana y mila son increíbles, gracias 💌💌
