I loved my time at the farm, and would highly recommend it! It's an amazing place to learn homesteading skills and spend time in nature. The host family was so welcoming, helpful, and you can truly see how much they care about their mission and their community.

Anna's farm was a once in a lifetime experience, my late grandparents would be very proud of me of my farm skills 😅. Met incredible people and learned tons about farm life, tending animals and living in a community of fellow travellers. The location of the farm makes you appreciate every sunrise, sunset and life in general. Hands down recommended! I shall be back fosho.

The shelter felt more like a home for me than any other place I've been. I met amazing people and got to be outside with animals all day. The hours are as agreed and Anna is incredibly welcoming and accommodating to your needs. I do think if you come here you must be someone who values hard work and who genuinely cares a lot about the animals. The sleeping arrangements were perfectly fine for my taste. I learned so much during my few weeks here and would have stayed so much longer if I had the option. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you for everything Anna.🥰

Can only recommend staying at Anna's the shelter, it was a truly amazing experience! Loved everything from the work to the atmosphere, making friends for a lifetime and obviously cuddling lots of cute animals from the little pademelons all the way to the cutest cows and goats. Will definitely come back to Tassie at some point in my life 💕

My time at the shelter was amazing and everyone works so hard to make this place magical! The main volunteer house has cats and since I'm allergic I thought I would have to make other plans but they helped so much and found me another place that was cat free on the farm. The daily life consists of working 5 hours 5 days per week. The day starts at 9am. There is food provided to make for breakfast and lunch. There is an IGA in town if you need something more. Dinners are together during the week and open on weekends. Such a wonderful place! I couldn't recommend it enough! Thank you Anna!!

This is a truly magical place, you are welcomed with open arms and it is all really like one big family. The work is fun and it is very relaxed, if you want to do certain tasks you can just ask. I loved my time on the farm and will definitely be coming back at some point.

I had such a great time doing my first World packers volunteer experience at the shelter in Tasmania. Anna and family were so lovely and welcoming to all the volunteers. I stayed here for 4 weeks and the time just flew by! There is definitely a place for all backgrounds and skill levels; I learned a lot, met loads of international people, and made tons of friends! Thank you :)

Anna was an amazing person, she treated all the crew members very well. the schedules were respected and the other people there in the farm were very nice. sometimes, the hygiene leave much to be desired, but this part depended only on the team that was working in the farm. you can feel anna really care about the animals and people there. i think it was a great first time of exchange in worldpackers.
