This was a great experience. Staying with a local family and living a slow life really impacted my travels in the best way. Teaching kids was soo fun and the experience was something I’ll have for the rest of my life. Great host to really see how a true life in Nepal looks like. They make you feel really welcomed and take really good care of you

This was my first volunteering experience, so in many ways it was a completely new environment for me and definitely an eye-opening experience. I truly appreciated the effort from the host and his family to make me feel comfortable and make my experience better. I was assigned to second grade class, I was mostly helping other 2 teachers of the class. I really enjoyed spending time at the school and working with the kids. I was little worried about working at the school, as I wasn't sure what to expect or how I would manage with the kids. However, it turned out much better than i expected

I have nothing but good things to say about Kapil. It's truly impressive how much he does to support and help so many schools and children. During my time here, I had the opportunity to help him distribute school supplies while staying with his incredibly welcoming family. They are such a special family, and I'm very grateful for the experience and for making me feel so at home. I truly hope I get the chance to come back one day! ❤️

I felt welcomed in Kapit Devkotas home from the beginning. He and his family showed me their local life and shared the food they ate everyday. I also met their family and some of their friends. Everyone was intrested in sharing and connecting. The host is a tourguide and because if his profession I got the full Kathmandu experience , he took me to all the must see places and provided a lot of facts. I also told him about my plans to visit Chitwan ( you should definitly go btw) and he organized the whole trip for me. So in my opinion you should volounteer in Kathmandu with them.

I had a truly amazing week in Kapil's home and at the school that I was volunteering. Originally, we planned to volunteer for one week, however due to the school's schedule, we were only able to teach for three days. But still it was an eye-opening experience. It turned out that I didn't volunteer at a public school or an orphanage, but a school run by a local NGO. In the school, I was responsible for teaching four classes a day, including grade 4, 6, 7 and 9. The students have quite a nice English proficiency, to which we could communicate and understand each other in English.

It was really nice staying with Kapil, and his family were super sweet too! The room and bathroom were also really nice. There were a few issues with the school though. It didn't really feel like they knew I was coming, and they also didn't seem to know what to have me do. It felt a bit unprofessional, and most of the time I was just watching. Later on I moved to a different school, and I had such a good experience there!

One of the most enriching experiences of my life. I learned so much from the kids, the teachers, Kapil, and his family, who truly make you feel at home. The children are very young (3–6), so I focused on making sure they had a good time, helping with homework, playing, and sharing smiles, laughter, and tickles. I bonded with the teachers, my Nepali sisters, and shared stories about our lives. Real cultural exchange. Beyond the classroom, I also helped Kapil with photos, videos, and a new website, but you don't have to if you don't want to. 100% a genuine chance to make a real social impact.

Kapil & his family were lovely, always. They care about your activities, safety & comfortability. You have a great, private room & are always fed great healthy food. I would recommend this opportunity to everyone looking to get involved in a great community, experience the culture & have fun interacting with smart, excited kids!

I volunteered for one month at a school in Tarakeshwar with the organization, working with the youngest children. I truly loved the experience—the children were joyful, and the teachers were kind, patient, and welcoming. I stayed at Kapil's home, where both he and his wife Laxmi were very supportive. Laxmi was especially caring and always attentive to my needs. Overall, my experience had many positive and meaningful moments, especially at the school and within the family environment.

Good morning and Namaste,
Thanks for your contribution to the children and the school uniform for extremely poor children of the village. Thanks for your suggestion. I shall improve it. Have a good time.

Really enjoyed my time here! The experience was different to the posting as I was helping at a school during the day so something to be aware of but i was totally happy with that. I enjoyed my time at the school (i was with nursey class) and the teachers were very welcoming. The family who run this amazing project were also very welcoming and offered trekking and tourism advise also.

Thank you very much. Martharose is a very simple and hard-working person. She follows all the rules and regulations of the organization. She did her responsibilities on time. I would like to host her as a volunteer. Yes, we organize her tours in Nepal. Thank you very much. May god bless you.
Have a good time.
