It was a wonderful experience! the lodge team is very welcoming, open-minded and always happy to help when needed. I felt very well looked after and safe from the very first minute. Lunches are a great opportunity to share a meal together, and thanks to the cooking rotation, the food is varied and there is always something different to enjoy. There is a great sense of respect among everyone, which makes the atmosphere really pleasant. The hotel is also conveniently located, close to all amenities and activities. A big thank you to the whole team for these two wonderful weeks! 🫶

Thank you so much for having had me during these two weeks. It's been a beautiful experience, Ive met wonderful people during my stay, learnt a lot of other cultures and visited unreal places on my time off. There's a family like vibes at the hostel, time to meet new friends at the evening activities (one of the best things of this hostel!!), and cozy areas to chill. The rest of the staff have also been so nice to me, I'm genuinely grateful. Thank you so much Hernan, Miguel, Richard, Matías, Ali, Poulette, Lorenzo, Franco and all the others !!

This place has the potential to be a great volunteering experience! I arrived at the lodge last minute and so I believe that my experience differs from the regular volunteering experience. I appreciate the fact that they welcomed me in such short notice and I had a great time here. Yet, I spent 7 days and 9 nights (arrived at 23h the day before my first shift at 9AM) from which I was scheduled to volunteer 6 of them and make family meal on my "day off". Still, I feel as if I had plenty of time to explore the town and the desert. I would recommend.

Volunteering at the lodge brought valuable connections and learnings. However, the tasks differed from the bioconstruction support listed in the vacancy; instead, I was assigned night shifts (19:00-23:00 or midnight-8:00). I mentioned this, but no adjustments were made. The schedule affected my sleep, and I fell ill, likely due to the dry, dusty environment of the village. Missing some shifts due to illness, I then had to make them up the following week. Overall, I appreciated the experience but found the tasks and schedule challenging.

How wonderful it is to come home again after almost 4 years, how wonderful to volunteer again at the lodging and share life with those beautiful people who live in the hostel, including the staff, the pets, and the guests 🫂. Life here is magical, the service is very calm, the facilities and what it offers in return are top-notch 👌🏾 I highly recommend future volunteers to experience this here; they will gain a lot of wisdom, stories, and beautiful moments that they can carry in their baggage. A greeting to the good life and to the good vibes of the lodging, I love you all very much ♥️

Simply the best hostel in San Pedro! I was warmly welcomed by the CasaVoyage team, and from the first day I felt at home. The tasks are well divided and the working hours respected; they are flexible and fulfill what they offer in the vacancy. The hostel is very pleasant, great accommodations, wonderful location, I could practice English, Spanish, French through frequent contact with guests from different countries. The evenings with activities are lively and sharing lunch with the team was very pleasant. My experience was 1000/10, I highly recommend it!
