There is no words to describe how good was this experience. It was my first volunteer and it couldn't have gone better. Madoka is sweet and is always helping us with the daily activities. Their work is as described, simple and straight forward. Their location of the host is superb, 200 meters from teradacho station. Since you can go anywhere by train in Japan they is a good point. The only improvement I would suggest to the host is the WiFi speed. If you work remote and require fast speed internet, you will have some problems depending the amount of people that are currently staying ther

The work was light, fair and well organized. The place was always clean and comfortable, the atmosphere was great, and the location in Osaka is excellent. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend this experience!

Madoka and Takeo were incredibly kind and welcoming from the very first day. I highly recommend this place! The area is lovely and very convenient for getting around Osaka. The work is easy, and the kitchen is spacious and well-equipped 🙌🏻 I'd love to come back here in the future!! My stay at the guesthouse in Osaka was nothing short of fantastic. Finding the right words to describe the warm welcome I received from Madoka-san and Takeo-san is harder than I expected, as they proved on more than one occasion to be incredibly kind, warm-hearted, and generous.
The hostel experience, bringing together people from so many different countries and backgrounds, made the whole stay truly unforgettable. I sincerely hope to have the chance to experience it all over again in the future!

Madoka and Takeo are both very kind and welcoming people. My experience at this hostel has been amazing. The shifts are 3 hours from 10am to 1pm and it's easy work so you have the rest of the day (and lots of free days) to plan whatever you want. Madoka is very helpful with the tasks and will organize and notify you of cool events such as festivals happening in the area. Takeo will also invite the volunteers to watch baseball matches every once in a while! Overall, I am happy with my stay; I believe one month is the perfect duration.

Overall, I had a great experience in the guest house! The bed was comfortable, the workload fair, and the manager was the sweetest! I really enjoyed working there, and will always remember the takoyaki party that they hosted during my last night! Hope to be back soon!
