I am thoroughly impressed by the island's beauty and tranquility. Upon our arrival, our host warmly welcomed us and provided a complete tour of the property, outlining our maintenance responsibilities. He gradually explained the daily operations and tasks, remaining consistently attentive to our needs and questions. Over time, we have integrated into the community and learned about local customs. The work is not demanding and allows ample room for creativity. I am highly satisfied with this experience.

Jay is a great guy and we loved to spend time at his place! You just need to take care of the surroundings (which is an amazing place). The house is very comfortable and has everything you need! I 100% recommend to rent a motorbike to explore the island! We had a great time chilling in the hammocks, making improvements, feeding the fish and scaring the monkeys! I would totally recommend the experience. Koh Lanta is a great place! Thank you Jay for everything :)

This is a fantastic place! Living here in the middle of nature and with Jay has been a wonderful experience that I would repeat and recommend.
The island is a little paradise in Thailand, with beautiful beaches and wonderful people.
Renting a bike gives you the option to explore in your free time.
I have learned a lot from this volunteering experience, gardening, restoration... always with freedom 🤗

I love it so much!!! 🤩 This volunteering experience is fantastic, Jey is a wonderful person with whom you'll connect with the local culture and nature too🎋 Spend time with him and on the farm, and feed the fishes 🐠 — 🐡 that was my favorite part; the best conversations happen there! 😃 Swim with them, enjoy the dragonflies, lie down and read in the hammocks, relax and improve this wonderful garden 🪷⛲️🪸 Rent a motorbike to swim at Bamboo Beach, stroll through the mangroves, and go to Rasta Baby's live music 🎶 🌀 Say hi to the flamingos for me!!😜🦩💃🏽

I had such a wonderful time with jay in his garden. He has a beautiful home, and I got to meet so many lovely animals and creatures whilst I stayed with him. Work is nice - weeding. I really enjoyed it. Would recommended for the traveller who wants a peaceful place to come to rest and stay put for a while. Jay is a great guy and I’m happy I got to know him :)

It was a great experience for me! I really love nature and happy to be in the nature. There are a lot of places on his site where you can relax in your free time. I saw many new things for me. Jay is very polite, conscious person. He showed us where it is better to get food, where the markets are on the very first day. He has two nice cats. I was happy to be here:)

Jay is very nice and straight forward person. Tasks around the yard is also very straight forward. Normal things, like cleaning and taking care of the land and aroundings. Like you would keep your own yard clean and neat too! Littlebit beekeeping also if you are interested 😉

Jay is a fantastic host. He has very free style where you get to create your own schedule for the day doing tasks. He doesn't demand much besides the upkeep of the shared areas.

The job part was alright, but everything else was abysmal. We didn't hit it off with Jay, the communication was poor and done mainly on WhatsApp, which is not a sufficient way to communicate, especially while trying to resolve conflicts. There were many points at which I didn't understand what Jay wanted, and it just created more tension as my questions to clarify usually went unanswered. This experience wasn't for me, but maybe if you like being micro-managed, stressed and not allowed to make mistakes, you would like it. In the end, I got threatened with police because of a waste bucket.

Jay is a really kind host. Me and my boyfriend had a really good time in Koh Lanta ! Jay was really flexible with hours and made us learn a lot about Thai culture, animals and plants. The island is calm in rainy season so it was nice to be far from our city ! Recommend 10/10
