I cannot describe how amazing our experience with Sasha was for us! Immediately we felt comfortable, working hours were 100% respected and he spent a lot of time educating and showing us about permaculture and his lovely hacienda 🫶🏼 He also was respectful and always tried to help us… I would always remember our beautiful month in Italy sharing delicious food and talking about bees and permaculture 💛

Sasha is a brilliant host, very attentive and dedicated, and always keen to share his knowledge. His project and the overall experience have far exceeded our expectations, which were already high to begin with. It's also worth mentioning just how welcome Lorena and Ganassa have made us feel. It's been an experience I would definitely repeat.

It is a unique and highly recommended opportunity for those looking for an authentic experience. The experience was excellent, with Sasha being a very attentive and kind host. On the farm, there was learning about the relationship between nature and its processes, as well as a remarkable cultural immersion.

I had an incredible experience volunteering. Sasha is always kind and very attentive to the volunteers' needs. He explains very well how we should do the work and always respects the schedule. The work is diverse, depending on the day. When we're in the field, we also have the company of his big baby dog. The accommodation is excellent and with total privacy. His mother makes delicious cakes for us. I highly recommend the experience!

My stay at this farm was okay. Honestly it was not a warm welcome here for me and I tried doing my best working on the farm. It was my very first time working on a permaculture farm and Sasha didn't believe in me to do the work which was extremely disappointing and I didn't feel any encouragement to do things better from the host. There isn't much communication with the host and when he is talking about the farm work he doesn't even look at me but he looks at everyone else which I took as disrespectful. The house is nice and the free time is nice but don't expect to get to know Sasha much.

The volunteering project is based on an exchange, if you put in little, you get little back.
I am very sorry you didn't have a good experience.
Perhaps if you had shown a bit more effort and interest, you would have felt more involved.

I had a great time at Sasha's home. He is a super flexible person and respectful with the working hours. Sometimes the work can be a bit challenging, but I have a lot of respect for what he does every day. The place itself is surrounded by nature, really peaceful and quiet. On the weekends it was easy to take a train and explore some nearby cities, which I would recommend. Definitely talk and communicate with Sasha, he knows some nice places to explore. In addition, he got a super cute dog (dogs) and his mom makes the best cakes :) Overall, I always felt safe and comfortable here.

This experience was truly a positive exchange - Sasha loves to share his knowledge and ideas about sustainability, organic farming and local culture if you are interested and engaged. I felt instantly at home at his house, his farm and with the other volunteers. And his animals are the best!!! Sasha is very attentive and makes sure that both life at his place and work at his farm feels like a safe and open space through open communication. Furthermore, he is extremely generous and helpful - he took us to eat local food, showed us "his world", and introduced us to local people and farmers.

Farm life is physically demanding —especially during summer. Expect to sweat a lot! Sasha is the chillest owner I've met. He encourages open communication and wants you to ask questions—whether it's about harvesting or reporting damage. I made small mistakes, but he stayed calm and patiently showed me the right way, even if we had to ask twice. Tips: Wear long sleeves/pants—some plants cause itching and there are bees 🐝. Bring a hat for sun 🌞. Know how to bike—farm's 2.5 km away 🚲.

I had a wonderful and unforgettable stay—like a dream. Many thanks to Sasha, a responsible and caring host both in daily life and work. He looks after his community, fosters connections among travelers and locals, and creates a warm, supportive environment. Equally importantly, in his work, he shows members the concept of organic and sustainable work, shares and teaches them about the operation of organic farms, which has taught me a lot, and has raised awareness and recognition of organic farms in his own way!
