Ullapool is just stunning! Very beautiful village, isolated but surrounded by a wonderful nature! There are many walking options and also bikes and kayak for volunteers.
Work depends on the weather, sometimes harder sometimes calm but Simon is very experienced and has a lot of patience to teach us. We learned a lot!

We had a great time during our stay in Ullapool. It was truly a great experience and we learned a lot with Simon, who is a very experienced man and very patient when it comes to teaching volunteers. We really felt that we were both helping and learning at the same time, which made the whole experience even more rewarding. From the beginning we felt very welcome and at home, and the month went incredibly fast. Before we knew it, it was already time to leave. Thank you Simon, Eileen, wee cat, and family for everything!

I had a great time with Simon and Eileen! I learned something new everyday, working with different kinds of plantations, painting and general home maintenance. You will have a great support for everything you need, they provide weekly food allowance and the cabin for volunteers is really confortable, sometimes we had souper together and they also took me for the theater once. Ullapool is a beatiful village, people are welcome, but has limited public transportation and if you cant rent a car is very difficult to visit other places. If you are travelling alone that might be a down side for you.

Simon and Eileen are wonderful hosts, and I felt welcome from the moment I arrived. They gladly shared their knowledge and experiences. The tasks and hours were always clear, and I could try many things such as painting, gardening, woodwork, small house repairs, housekeeping, laundry, and helping on the farm. I learned something new every day. I also enjoyed walking around the peaceful village, and having my own private time and space was very helpful for my online job. Staying here is one of the best ways to experience Ullapool. Thank you so much for the amazing month and all the memories!!

Had a truly wonderful time at Tenderden the farm. It was my first time volunteering with worldpackers and Simon and Eileen were so welcoming, generous and kind, with great senses of humour! I felt very taken care of. They were very adaptable to my needs relating to injury, also doing things like very kindly altering work schedules so I could do some sightseeing in more ideal weather! I thoroughly enjoyed helping out in their lovely garden, and spending time with them in general.

Staying with Simon and Eileen was a wonderful decision. We came with the mission of helping out at the charity dinner that was going to be held at Christmas. Simon, who was the organizer, was very clear in each task he gave us, always willing to answer questions in a very friendly way ❤️ They were always concerned that we had a good experience and for that we will always be grateful. The tasks are very varied and the weekly time is respected. We really enjoyed our time there. The place is very cozy and Ullapool is a must-visit place if you want to experience Scottish culture. I had an amazing time staying with Simon and Eileen! They were very welcoming and made me feel at home in Ullapool. The hours and tasks clear and easy to understand. I also got to try different things, like painting, gardening, apple picking, and housekeeping. In addition, Ullapool is such a scenic place and also had lots of events and live music to see :)

Fernanda left a good 'feeling' where ever she went. She worked hard, effectively and picked skills up really quickly.
Socially , a very nice person to be with. Here in the village several people have sent their regards and asked if she would be coming back.

They were very kind, respectful and worried if I was happy with everything, with food, activities, bed, room, company, the tasks...I'm very grateful about this awesome experience, they became real friends now.
