We spent 2 weeks here and it was super chill place. work is around 3 hours per day we did 2 hours some building/cleaning or reparing and 1 hour walk wigh the dog. If you want to go to antigua it's 1 hour walk so it's okay but prepare fir a hill or sometimes we got a drive. There is very good communication and everything went smooth. They are currently building a new project and also not enough water so it was very dusty. But it was nice recharge there. We enjoyed our time there a lot

Sterling was an incredible Host! He helped me with everything and cared when I was sick. There is a lot to do and tasks of every kind. It's perfect to get away from everyday hustle and a perfect place to calm down and connect with nature. You can lay in the hammocks, do some yoga or watch the stars in the evening. It's very of grid, so you learn how to use water and the resources very responsible. The adorable two dogs keep you entertained, but it's still good to download some books before. We loved our time at the Center! The work was heaps of fun and we had so much fun with Drax and Echo, taking them for walks helped prepare us for the volcano hike really well! The work hours were always respected and Sterling was super helpful and flexible with everything and always gave us good info! The location is awesome and we hope to return at some point!!! Missing the Wolfpack already

Volunteering here was a great experience. Living at the foot of a volcano near a traditional Guatemalan village was definitely worth it. I connected with nature and explored the local day-to-day life. The tasks were fair and working hours respected. The property is off-grid and being renovated, so expect dust and dirt, even where you eat and sleep, as well as cold showers. Ideal for those seeking a more adventurous and local experience without the modern comforts.

Even though there were no other volunteers while I was there, I had a great time, most of the time I spent with the best dogs Echo and Drax or just recharging in the garden, reading books. Walking with dogs perfectly prepared me for hike to Acatenango and Fuego!

I had a great experience here. The tasks were as described. I spent most of my time with Drax and Eccho, and it was a lot of fun to be with them. You always feel like you have company. Hiking with them is definitely good training for any hike you want to do, especially for the Acatenango and Fuego volcanoes.
Sterling gave me good recommendations for climbing the volcano and has a lot of information about places to visit.
It was nice to meet other volunteers too. I think we were a good team.

My stay at the Center was a great experience. The work contained mostly walking with the dogs and entertaining them, which i really enjoyed. We also help with different task around the property. The free time was perfect to relax around the property, do some yoga or explore Antigua and the region around like volcano Acatenango (the walks with the dogs will prepare you perfectly for a volcano hike). Sterling was a great host. He always ensured our well being and made me feel really comfortable and welcomed. I'm really grateful for this wonderful experience at the Center. Thank you so much.
