I had a great experience at the school of the school. One of my favorite parts was hiking and exploring with other travelers. The accommodation has all the basic necessities. It could use some remodeling, but Hung is always helpful and provides anything you need, including cleaning supplies. Summer classes are scheduled throughout the day, while during the school year they are usually in the evenings. Hanoi is about 40-50 minutes away by bus and is very easy to access from the house. Overall, a great experience with a supportive host and a good opportunity to meet people and explore the area.

This volunteering experience was incredible from start to finish. It was easy to settle in and feel part of a community straight away. The organised hikes helped everyone bond quickly, and even when I arrived as the only volunteer, I never felt alone for long as more people joined and we all worked and socialised really well. Living above the school made it feel unique and immersive, and I loved the simple routine of going downstairs each day. The host was friendly, supportive, and always available whenever needed. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience I would highly recommend to anyone.

My time in the school has been a lot of fun. The city centre is easily accessible and everything is very cheap compared to Europe. During my 6-week stay I met some wonderful people, discovered the Vietnamese culture and all in all had a great time in the school. Thank you for everything!!

I had a great time at the school, it was my first volunteering experience teaching english and it was truly enriching. Vietnamese kids are very energetic yet respectful. I taught in the evening so that left me plenty of time to enjoy my days and nights in beautiful Hanoi city! Also, I met incredible friends there 😇

I had the best month volunteering here in Ha Dong, i met really cool people and Hung is a very good boss to get along with. The classes are really fun and you learn a lot about local life through this experience. There were a few issues to begin with about the apartment we live in, but after telling Hung he sorted it for us. Overall would recommend :)

I spend amazing time in Ha dong, Hanoi.
Hung is very nice, and i met fellow travelers who's really cool and we had the best memories ever in Hanoi. As you can see and read the task is a bit challenging for teaching a kids but they're nice and we can still handle it. Overall it's really worth it~

The lessons are well planned! We're responsible for keeping the space tidy, and whenever we need anything for the house, we just have to ask. The weekly allowance is enough to cover expenses, and the food provided is a great option. The only thing that was really unpleasant was the lack of competence among the reception staff. Supposedly, they're there to help but they often make mistakes that disrupt the classes and are never able to help when students misbehave. Apart from that, it's a great place to volunteer for anyone wanting to explore Hanoi, since the bus stop is really close!

I had a good time at the school with amazing people volunteering there. You mostly teach less than 3h, so u have plenty of time to explore Hanoi, but keep in mind that a certain creativity is needed to plan the lessons. The kids are cute, but energetic at times which might be challenging. While teaching was nice, I have to say that the accomodation needs a renovation. I'm aware that we need to keep our space clean, but there are e.g mouldy spots, dirty/broken kitchen appliances, weird smelling beddings. Good to know: if you are tall (>~185cm), you only fit in the bed with bent legs.

I had to leave earlier than planed because of the so strong pollution in Hanoi. So I think that's also something to have in mind volunteering here. Hung, the host, is a nice guy, Sadly didn't see him much. As the volunteers live in the last floor of the school, which is okay but the door of the balcony was more like a fence. So it was quite cold at night. I asked for an extra blanket and it was a bit better. Also you get a weekly allowance to buy your food, cause lunch is what is provided by the host. But it isn't that much. So just keep in mind that you also have to buy own food

Thank u, but polution is about the weather in Hanoi, not fault from our place. U should do a research before comming than giving a negative review about the organization. Also everyone feel ok with the place and allowance except you.

Hung is an excellent host, very kind and a great sense of humour. The volunteering hours at the school were actually a few less than stated online, which allowed us more time to explore Hanoi and immerse ourselves in the local culture. We really enjoyed the events and trips that Hung planned, such as the infamous waterfall hike where I lost one croc. XD And the beer and food nights at local eateries in Ha Dong. The organised trips are budget friendly and include the necessities such as medical insurance, the trips also allow you to see some hidden gems in Vietnam.
