Permaculture Foodforest School in the desert of Morocco

The experience

We are M'Barek and Jessica. In our foodforest garden school you have the chance to get involved in a holistic and meaningful project. On our property, which is the size of two football fields, we are creating a permaculture garden as a demonstration for the local population. Local gardeners should learn the principles of permaculture. Goal is for local people to live self-sufficiently and for us to to create a large, colorful oasis.

What you offer

4 hours of help per day

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: € 8 Per day

Description: Volunteers contribute 8 € a day to cover expenses for food, electricity and maintenance. We take the fee in the local currency what makes it 90 Morocan Dirham a day.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English or Fluent German

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Beside the help we need, we love to share our lifestyle. However we do a lot for our dream life we are both working on what we love the most. We want you to experience that the same. Bring your self in with your individual talents where you are needed and feel the difference of work and be part.
